I'm getting quite a bit of 'gurgle' off the vaper at the mo. I'm not trying to suck a golfball thro a hosepipe or anything, any ideas on what it might be?
-
• #528
Try cleaning your battery connection, you might have some juice in there... And crank it right up...

Using the Langer T3S at the minute, really enjoying it.

^^ my naturevape bubbled quite a lot, increasing the PD made it worse rather than better and ruined the vape taste. This could be down to the quality of the liquid though.
In other news, got some Earl Grey liquid going now and it is very enjoyable.

And crank it right up...
the Spinal Tap approach, nice…

ok, I'm getting a bit hacked off now. I checked what TS was saying about the vaping liquid getting in to the battery connector and it was flooded. I've got the glassy bit on the table on a piece of tissue and it's gently draining itself of oil
any ideas?

Make sure your coil head is nice and tight in the base of your clearomiser and inspect your wick, it could be time to change it... Don't know for sure without seeing it...
Then crank it up...

Protank II and EVOD VV battery is also causing me some trouble today.
leaking through the atomiser into the battery mainly.. grrrr.
TS, how is the Kayfun? do you have to build your own wick/coils?
-
• #535
Kayfun is good, haven't got it dialled in perfectly but I'm still getting used to it...
You do need to build your own coils but you just have to get on YouTube and find the setup that works for you... I think I'm on a six wind 0.32mm microcoil with a cotton wick... 1.5 ohms... Would prefer a bit more vapour but the flavour's pretty good...

Yeah, it's a lot of fun. So en vogue, vaping is cool. The better is the vaper the coolest is the vaped.
-
• #538
Have a certainty.
-
• #539
Yup, it's way better... Ben may have a better suggestion...
Build quality isn't great on them, or maybe I'm just a clumsy fuck...
-
• #540
Maybe, Joe, maybe.
-
• #541
any companies make Kanger style atomisers that are not shit?
-
• #542
Back in your box, Marco...
-
• #543
An EvoD with a well built microcoil and a cotton wick works really well IME... I still use mine if I'm going out to a gig or something...
-
• #544
Nice new puffy loose cotton wool wick on the Kayfun Lite is going great guns... It's a 6mm microcoil so you can get a really fat bit of cotton in there... Is good...

rewicked the naturevape and made no difference, oil is seeping out of the coil unit and flooding the battery connection area. I can only presume this is a fault in the unit. I've contacted naturevape so it'll be interesting to see what their response is

Did you get my text? Come out to Le Reej tomorrow night, I'll bring a few coils with me and you can test them out...
Could be your wick has had it... Mine will flood if I'm pulling too hard on low power, sadly it happens all the time... It's a bit of a black art getting it right, two identical coils can behave completely differently...
Try taking the old cotton wick out then dry burning the coil on lowish power, to get rid of all the accumulated gunk, replace wick, juice it up (you mustn't dry burn cotton wool) reassemble and fire it up again...
It tends to happen with that juice, super gunky...

I've not had a full days use off it yet!!
aye - can't do tomorrow night gaffer - I've dry burned the coil and replaced the wick and soaked the wick before firing up, floods after a single draw!
Shouldn't be this much of a faff…
-
• #548
Is it firing properly? Sometimes the connection between the battery and the coil isn't very good, try (very gently) prying the sides of the battery contact upwards... It does move, don't be too frightened but don't use a lot of force... I've just rebuilt you a coil anyway, I'll be in E14 during the day tomorrow if that's any good to ya... 1.76Ω and good to go!

I just got a nature vape mini pro Wayne. I have it on an 650 eGo-C+ battery
I have been avoiding getting one, because I have issues with massive light sabre units. I'm happy to say that the profile comes out slightly shorter than the satndard eGo-C. Nice cloud and flavour (at the 3.3v).
It gurgles a bit, but all the videos I have seen have a similar sound to them. Early days yet, but I haven't had any leakage issues.

Can't fault naturevape for customer service - emailed them last night and had a phonecall from them this morning.
After chatting thro it sounds like there's a dodgy O ring that's preventing a vacuum forming. They've popped a replacement tank in the post straight away for gratis.
I was chatting to him about using TripHammer liquids and he was of the opinion that a slightly gloopier liquid would be no problem and may suit there coil/wick system better
Cheers for the info Butters.
