Just ordered a set of Miche Pistards for £90. win.
Hehe they're nice, if I were you I'd desticker them though. I did that with mine (check my thread).
Only bad thing is that they're quite heavy. -

Noooooo do the frame some justice :-(
Have you ever rode them?
-
• #154
Nope. Its just sounding like a porn build. But they're not porn wheels...
-
• #155
Like I said, the Miche wheelset will only be on until I can afford to bust £400+ on a set of wheels.

Yeah man fair play. My DA hubs are 2nd hand but in incredibly good nick, and 110mm spaced. I've only spent £230 on them and they're laced to TB14s with DT swiss competition spokes. Don't need to spend 400 quid to get nice wheels :-)

It's the carbon that would have killed me!

Same here, got some DA7710 hubs laced with DT comp spokes to some kinlin rims, Set comes in at 1500 grams and has cost me 200 pounds :).

Just to add, I did have to buy the hubs from Japan and pay 20 quid imports.

My wheelset was £90 posted.
I originally set myself out with a budget of £500 for a complete bike, before I came across this frame. I'm already way, way over budget, but would like to keep it around £900

Hehe, it's an expensive hobby. My miche wheelset was 125 pounds posted and will be for daily use, I think that's good value. And destickered they look quite nice.

In all honesty, £900 is a lot of money, but over your entire lifetime and how much enjoyment I'll get out of this, it's more of an investment.
-
• #163
It is, and you have to ride it a lot before the money will turn into fun haha ;d.

Just ordered this
I know it's fugly but I intend to enter a few TTs and such so I deffo need it to be legal. This is going to be my 'do it all' bike
Was going to get it in silver to match the crank, but decided I want it as understated as possible, so may strip it and re-paint to remove logos.
Noooooo do the frame some justice :-(
