Yes 1000aa.

Decisions decisions.
It's not too late for me to swap the hubs, possibly the same ones just 32 hole. I definitely want to run 60mm rims because in all honesty, they look badass.

IMO, but 32h hubs and 60mm carbon rims isn't gonna look any better than 36h. I would lace those DA hubs to silver TB14's.

Naaa, I love the look of deep carbon rims on a skinny steel frame.
I would love to get 28h Dura-Ace but they are too pricey. Anyone know of another 110mm spacing 28h large-flange hub!?

Plus many of the deep rims are only available in low spoke count, for 60mm expect 20-28h, there isn't much need for 32 or 36h with a rim that deep. With DA hubs its all about low profile rims for an NJS build, tb14 or a23 maybe.

Phil wood could do the hub you require on special order.

Just my 2p but deep rims (i.e. anything +30mm) and high spoke count look silly.... and those are 36h right? I'd definitely go for a sub-24mm high rim. There are still plenty of Chinese carbon offerings that are low profile.
I think they can look good... Stiff too.

you can get all spoke counts from those asian producers and also nearly all spoke counts from mack regarding the hubs

Done some serious amount of purchasing!
Changed my list a little, but here's what I've purchased:
50t ZEN chainring
HKK Gold
Nitto seatpost
Nitto 90mm stem
Dura Ace crank
Parts left to purchase:
Nitto pursuit bars
Fizik bar-tape
Kashimax Aero
Gatorskin
Large Valve tubes
Rim-tape
Rims (sorted, just need to pluck up the courage to buy them)
Hubs (do need help with deciding, preferably 28h, 110mm spacing)

Out of interest, why pursuits? Don't think they'll be very comfortable...

On my Langdale I had pursuits for a good few months and loved them, I also find I can't climb with drops unless they have a hood.

Bullhorns my friend, bullhorns :-) These Nitto's are the absolute nuts.

Have paid for customs and frame is being delivered 9am tomorrow.
Still wanting to go 60mm crabonz, but finding hubs that are: 28h, 110mm and 8mm is proving quite hard. I don't mind filing the axles, but not too keen on pulling the rear end to 120mm. Hmmmm..

There is a box in my hallway with my name on it... pics soon.

Hope you didn't get hit with customs, that is one thing that always feels like a kick in the teeth.
BTW Please check your PMs ;)Cheers

£50 :( Sure did! Have quite a limited amount to spend on this and that really pissed me off. Still, it's a price I had to pay to get my frame, so I just manned up and paid it.

£50 isn't bad....
I once paid £25 in customs taxes for a pair of Oakleys coming from America.
That. Was. Annoying.
-
• #120
Yeah with £50 you got off lightly, I paid near £100 on my Raleigh, and that was with the value marked down!
-
• #121
50 For a frame is pretty good.
I paid 55 for my 75s, zen and a chain >>>>>>

Now make that picture again with your own CP thread on the screen, so a crazy effect appears.

Now you've just got to build it and actually come on a ride...

Eh, I ride pretty much everyday, just finishing work at 6.30 messes coming for a ride with the group up :(
That's a point. If you've got 36h hubs just go for a23s or archetypes.
