  • I resemble that remark. Repped

  • I was not often in my life so angry about a result of someone else. And I see many people around me feeling the same. #TourofTurkey

    What's all that about?

All I can think is that he reckons that Sayar was on the juice due to his completely unexpected performance. It was on my mind watching him tear the field apart, but surely you'd need more than just an unusually strong performance before you start making insinuatioins? And it's not like Kittel would have been in with a chance of a result if Sayar had been blown out the back with 20km to go.

  • It's the same team that last year had a guy blow the field apart before testing positive
So naturally assumptions will be made

  • Sayar finished 160th out of 162 riders last year. That's quite some turnaround.

  • eurosport commentators were clearly skeptical - repeating it's unbelievable over and over again.

  • My favourite bit was the tweet from SaxoTinkoff's official feed, talking about an unbelievable performance, with clear insinuations, whilst noting their own convicted doper came in slightly behind.

    Mr Kettle meet Mr Pot.

  • To be fair, it was hardly a stellar line up he beat. But after last year no-one trusts that team.

  • Hedjedal has abandoned

  • That was always planned.

Queen stage, buzzing. And a TT tomorrow. Good weekend.

Also sayer has released a video aimed at critics. But take that to the doping thread >>>>

  • oof, looks horrible

  • now we see what Froome is made of, cold and horrible and all on his own

  • fair play to him, great move!

  • Not that you would know it from the two blethering idiots that Sky TV employ as commentators. Though perhaps their failure to give any credit to Froome, or recognise what a brilliant counter-attack he made, or talk in any positive way at all about him, shows a commendable neutrality. Or more likely they are just blethering idiots.

  • Froome rode well there. Impressive from both him and his buddy Porte

  • Froome absolutely stepped up to the plate and blew it away.

  • UK scene.
Tour of the resivoir stage 1.

What do you expect, they're in the private sector.

  • Are sky taking the piss with this coverage?
    There is none. Bollocks.

  • ^ apparently it is/was on the Red Button from Sky Sports 3

  • Yeah absolutely terrible.
I've only got skygo.com here, so can I access the red button function, not a chance can I.

It's a joke. Especially as they're the teams main sponsor. Bugger Sky.

  • Sky should give it up and let Eurosport do it properly.

    Yeah, me too...
