  • Talanskey proper killed himself eh.. Froome was, like, phew.. that was.. tough.. Sort of..

Thought Froome looked rinsed at the end, had to have a wee sit down. What happened to Martin? I know it was an uphill, short TT but he can climb a bit, but he was way down.

  • Froome was fresh as a daisy compared to Talanskey

  • Romandie

I want Roman to live. :(

Came unclipped or something I believe and I guess it put him off his stride.

  • Anywhere to catch up on Romandie footage?

  • Nice one.

  • All the feed from Romandie are buggy as hell today.

    Take your pick

  • ^Solar flares?

  • Cav dropped two stages in a row, maybe he needs to drop some puppy fat again

  • He's at Romandie to prepare for the Giro. Winning a stage would be a bonus but the main purpose is to get him used to climbing mountains again.

  • That, plus the climbs are brutal. All but the best are getting dropped.
He had a bit of a break so wants some racing days in his legs.
And he doesn't have to get over boxhill 5 times this year, so he's back to his sprinting weight. Not trying to get over boxhill weight. He'll kill it once OPQS get it right for him.

Talansky keeping quiet, with cervelo. They'll show later in the week.

Sshh, you're letting the facts get in the way of a gloat

  • But Jimmy, I thought Cav was your boy! Nothing better than seeing him jump off a train and smash all and sundry on his way to sprint victory..

  • I do love Cav but he was whinging a bit earlier in the season, going on about how much he enjoys his cycling again now he's a OPQS just before the wheels came off their train and he stopped winning. I had a little chuckle.

Will be shouting for him in the Giro. Last year his sprints were epic, when he didn't crash, which was about half the time. Red for him this time, must be going for a Giro/Tour points double.

  • something tells me he's going to suffer on this years Giro...

  • Fickle Jimmy, Fickle.
Either you love him or you don't none of this he was whinging nonsense, so my love for him has dwindled. You're either part of the Cav train, or you're not, no hoping on and off at your convenience.

  • The one thing I've learnt about Cavendish over the past 5 years is that you don't write him off.

  • My love for Jimmy Fingers has dwindled because he's whinging about Cav.

No. Never.. you just tow him up the mountains when the commies aren't looking.

  • Of which there is still no photographic evidence.

  • is also what Jimmy Saville said

Hang on a minute, don't be putting words in my mouth, my love for him hasn't dwindled. It's like laughing at your best mate when he falls in a puddle. Not that Cav is my best mate, although I think he should be, as I have regularly tweeted him.

And put in hand delivered letters to him and Peta.

And got printed on a t-shirt.

So far OPQS are having a poor season and Cav's current dearth is down to them and their so-far sketchy train, although Cav grabbed wins in Oman despite it. KBK got cancelled which would have been a major aim, but he did get beat quite decisively by Kittel. Should see a super organised team at the Tour, something they'll be honing at the Giro fingers crossed

  • Jimmy fingers, replace Cav for Partridge and you are almost there.
