OK so I'm a week late to the party but this was the first post to appear when I clicked on the thread and so worthy of quoting.
It was awesome seeing Fabian actually getting away from the field and creaming it instead of being forced into his usual role of leadout man for a.n.others team's eventual winner.
At the time I wrote that Sagan seemed to have the measure of Cancellara, but now Fab has found ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶ another gear and now he seems to have the measure of Sagan. Sure the season will throw up some further twists too

Was not my intention to disrespect women today on the podium. Just a joke, sorry if someone was disturbed about it."

Alex Rasmussen has been pulled from the start of his first race back for Garmin as Garmin/UCI seemed to have conspired to get his paperwork to re-register as a rider stuck in the Easter holidays somewhere. Awesome.

During this time the UCI did manage to include him in the Garmin team line up on their own website though;

Of course you can argue that Alex Rasmussen shouldn't be competing in the first place, but the handling of this situation is not doing anything help UCI creditability.
