At the picture of my Mielec above I have a 28mm Schwalbe Durano. The wheel is almost slammed and there is still 3mm space to the seattube.

That's some old Trek roadbike fork. Currently riding a Tusk Air. I will post a picture soon.
The Tusk air work really well IMO.

Did anyone get some more info on the 'Dale copies?
Thinking about getting one made up, success anyone?

Did somebody order a Cannondale Track copy from Mielec? Is hard enough to find reliable geometry (seems that the published one doesn't fit the real frames), even more to find the down tube diameter, so i'd love to talk w somebody that already tried... I've tried to find some lucky buyer in this thread but didn't go through all the 90 pages... anybody? : )

cannondale copes are around, just search Google or this thread and you'll find a handful. I'd be interested, but like I have said, I want 27.2cm seat post and weird dropouts, otherwise its not a real copy to me.

27.2mm seatpost - u can always shim it.
But i don't think you would get dropouts as you like,
unless u get them made elsewhere, maybe. -

The head tube for 1'' it's no problem, but seat tube we have only for 31,4 or 31,6.
Best regards,

Found another similar one here.
About geo, I can live with seat tube 31.6 (original is 31.8, right?), top tube should be 35mm (as I read here) but what about down tube? The only info I found was in some forum saying it should be around 2.5" (6.35cm), but I'm not sure. The new dropouts look alright to me, I already assume that a real copy 100% it is rather difficult, and I don't aim to sell it for millions of dollars 2 days after I receive the packet, so for me is no problem at all.

Rincewind, what seat posts is Mielec delivering with the 31.6 seat tube? About dropouts, I'm sure you could find somebody to make a real copy of what u need, and get them sent to Mielec...

Hi guys,
I've played a bit with bikecad aiming to get a proper cannondale track geometry (on 62cm). It's my first time w the program and I might have missed something, you're welcome to take a look if u want : )

That saddle is absolutely hideous! Other than that, pretty rad though!

• #4494
Ugly saddle is there for comfort. Gotta get my sit bones in shape after a few years off bike. First gen flite is planned for the future

Comfort over aesthetics? Unheard of!

Hi, I guess this has been asked 100 times, but I am not too ashamed to ask again as things might have changed meanwhile:
Does it make sense to send Mielec a Bikecad file with a custom geometry and they build the frame exactly as in the CAD drawing? i.e. for example: the seattube is actually made 74.5° in the end if that's my specification, and not 74° or 75°, and all tubes are just the length as specified?
Or would that become a lottery? Any bikecad mielec experiences?

I seem to recall someone sending a CAD Drawing and it not turning out as planned, that being said once the CAD Drawing was posted you would have to have been in a category of autistic genius to make sense of the damn thing... so I'm not too sue if anyone else off the forum has had any joy to be honest.

That's fucking lovely! What's the geo?
I reckon bigger, there was room to spare when I had 28s on.
