I did see those the other day. They were nice NJS pedals, not sure which though. Bit pricey, mind.

The thing with NJS pedals is they have the raised bit for slotted cleats and if you ride with regular shoes it digs into and fucks them up and is uncomfortable too.
1st dibs straps if end up selling them.

I just fitted them today, actually I haven't even put the rear wheel back on. B0N0R said he had one on the front for a while with no problems, there was some talk in the CP chat thread the other day.
I had them on my first fixeh, dropped the chain one day, back wheel locked up and burnt straight through the tyre.
I friend has been riding them sensibly though for the past couple of months and they've been alreet.

^ and ^^^
Jimjam offered me some RX-1s for £50 but I think I am going to go for GX9s. They are apparently hella comfortable and v. cheap. Although I do want RX-1's, I don't want them to fuck my shoes or be uncomfy.

No worries, the GR-9 is a good street pedal if you want clips & straps. Wasn't sure how far you wanted to take the NJS ting.
There's some picture online somewhere showing how a guy glue-gunned a pair of the NJS cleats into the RX-1s and basically turned them into platform pedals, but it seems a shame to do that when they look so nice and shiny...

So I am testing toms GR9s before I buy any. Dom tommmm and spotter have all rated them highly so just giving them a go.
I went to (shame on me) BLB and got some double strap silver cages and also got some kashimax dual sprint straps from jimjam.
Joe, I just want a bike in which I can wear casual shoes with. I didn't like my rest raps and clip less is necessary for commuting, so this has to be the casual shoe bike!

Have you ridden twin cages and straps, brakeless?

Sorry. Is this gonna be your pub biek?

Not as of yeet, but skidding was child's play with single straps and cages. Why what be the difference?
Sorry. Is this gonna be your pub biek?
No, but in the summer I don't want to be wearing SIDIs everywhere.
makes no sense
Toshi>everything else
I wanted kashimax straps to match my saddle.
