jake, give metal cages a week and then order some plastic ones in same size. they cost 2-4 quid, so good even to try and bin if not liked, but the foot comfort is just insanely improved, especially with summer thin shoes

Look like it could be, laminated like those toshi njs strap that doesn't stretch in the slightest making skidding's a child play.

I used to ride with toshi double, but I cut it in half and use it as a single instead as it's plenty strong enough.

These are MKS NJS for half the price. Ed's right about lamination, without it they'll stretch in no time and keep stretching.

Oh and 2007 called and it want's it's pedal setup back.

These straps are cream. But. They are so fucking strong and I think they look good. And they match my saddle for max slave points.

Joe, I had seen those, but these Kashimax's were too good of a price to turn down. I was too young to experience riding fixed during that glorious year, so I am reliving it now ;-)

+1 for gr9 with blb cages. I have their laminated straps too. Have lasted 2years plus with no problems at all and pretty comfy.
They do eat the front of shoes after a while so can see the advantage of plastics. The logos are ugly but 30seconds with the Dremel sorted the cages out.
