  • Yes I know they are the same Cpt Obvious.

    Yeah I guess so - you have TB14s don't you?

  • Velocity A23 come in different colour too, it's just a question of popping down to your LBS and ask them to order them in;

    700c (622)
    Colors: Black, Silver, White, Anodized Red, Anodized Blue, Anodized Purple, Orange, Anodized Green, Bright Silver, Polished

  • Yeah I guess so - you have TB14s don't you?

    Yep, not as stiff and light as A23, but with a good wheelbuild they're decent, the width outweight the weight of the Open Pro.

    Personally I'd go for the 23mm width thing, especially on a track bicycle with tight clearance, 23mm tyres on those rims still look great and have the comfort of a 25mm tyres.

    It's a win-win situation, the only problem you have is merely the appearance which are a personal choice rather.

  • Yeah 23mm it is then. Want a box rim though so unless there are any other 23mm wide box rims you can think of - TB14 it is.

  • TB14.

  • The TB14's can be bought really cheaply on eBay. I got a set from a Seller in the US for about £85 delivered...

  • ... With risk of custom charge.

  • and the fact they're 45 quid new. So you saved a fiver.

  • There was no risk of customs as the seller had marked them as samples.

    They grey ano rims are £58 at TFG. Where can they be bought for £45?

  • thought hubjub is dead

  • They were, check the about me section;

  • ^The new owners have got some good stuff in. Their grammar is appalling though.

  • grammar>>>

    i am not checking any sections about you ed

  • why u not have moar pics of panasonic?

  • Mavic are old fashion, while other rims manufacturer is heading toward the right direction, for some reason Mavic still insist on being stuck in the dark ages.

    They're the only other "high end" wheels manufacturer who doesn't go wide rims like other (HED, Velocity, Zipp, Roval, etc. to name but a few).

    Open Pro CD is the same as Open Pro.

    I think they have realised, their Cosmic Carbones are 23mm. Maybe it's just*taking a while for the technology to filter down.

  • ^^ its not got wheels.... But I have just messaged hubjub to see if they have any t b14s in stock right now so wheels should be built in a couple of weeks.

  • Ive looked through the thread, and the one photo of this built up was rubbish! sort it out!

  • I've never been super happy with it so never took good pictures.

    Soon.

  • 16 pages in, you know where this is heading......

  • This is almost as good as ChainBreaker's "Super Light, Super Safe, Never Ridden" bike.

  • Either that or it'll just end up split and in the classifieds because it was too small anyway.

  • Its heading for a complete bike very soon! :-P

  • Brakeless? Better warn the other cyclist...
