Tempted by Deda Speciale bars to go on my Colnago, compact drop and seem to work ok with Ergo levers. Might also get the RS01 seatpost and Murex stem to match. Not sold on the Murex in pictures though, anyone seen one in the flesh ?

Thanks, built them my self. Mack road hubs, TB14's and Sapim spokes.

Bought a murex the other day, it looks a little bit cheap, but it's alright. Get one off wiggle for £25 and just send back if you don't like.

Nice! What quill adapter is that?

Deda. Weight aside though I don't think it makes a difference which one you use. What does make a difference is the diameter of the clamp area on the stem. If its too bulbous, i.e it has a thick wall or is square in profile it looks strange. A slim one with similar diameter to the headset spacers will look much better. I'm using a Kalloy Uno.

After dithering on a Deda cockpit, I'd decided on Nitto and bought a 120mm 25.4 Dynamic stem and B115 Bars from SprocketsUk on Ebay... only for the stem to be out of stock.
Couldn't find a Nitto 120/25.4 stem in stock on a quick internets search, so ended up cancelling both.Any other options for new compact bars and matching quill stem that work with STI/Ergo's other than Nitto or Deda ?

I've recently rebuilt a Concorde PDM with some nice Campagnolo Athena from classifieds for my girlfriend... I'll take some nice snaps of it soon but it's turned out quite lovely.

+1 for Highway Ones. I've got them on two bikes and they're really comfortable.
I've had Bontrager SSR VRC too but they weren't as comfy. The bend in the drop was slightly different. -

Love it, what stem is that?

Ron's nearly ready for L'Etape du Tour. A 12-28 cassette and matching shiny new chain to help me up Col D'Izoard, rear wheel trued after a minor spill, and an extra bolt-on bottle cage. (Should've got an extra braze-on mount when I had it resprayed. Ah well...) Now just waiting for one of them new-fangled Garmin GPS thingies to be delivered to bring me into the 21st century and I can play Strava w@nker with segments and elevation and whatnot.

Well spotted! Always had a hankering for 753 too, don't know if it was the era it was produced but something about it seems cooler than 653 and dare I say it 853.
