Would be funny if anyone would seriously challenge Froome...

Lolz Saxo really are desperate if their new strategy is to try and lead Froome off road into a ravine leaving their other rider to take the glory. Has the Cound waded in on twatter yet?
And Cuntador whining about Quintana after he took yellow with his shameless attack when Schleck the younger dropped a chain a few years back, is indeed the doublest of double standards.
So the TT is supposed to be one fo the most technical ever, they said on the tellybox that it was not a stage to simply get in an aero tuck and churn a big gear with some very tricky descending again. So will they still all be on full TT bikes or will anyone opt for a better handling bike over full aero?

Standard bikes I should think...

Is it wrong that I thought when Costa went up the road 'he's in my fantasy team, hope he got a good bag yesterday'?
It is? Bugger
Does this mean I'm a doper?
(Not saying Costa is btw, really have no idea, just an instant thought #iblamelance)

Contador didn't exactly force Froome off the road.
Froome is such a whining bairn.

gutted that Pinot is out.
one of my favourite riders from the last 3 years. Really hope it's not the end of his tour career.

Are road bikes with clip-ons allowed?

I read Fwume's comments as :
'Come on Berto, you're clearly not up to riding fast with the big boys, wouldn't it be better to slow down and ride within your limited capabilities and accept you're never going to win without drugs? You might hurt yourself.'
I believe the kids call it a dis.

A common cold is a bit of a cop-out when there's people riding with cracked pelvises and no skin. Still reckon it was a fear of descending!

Just caught up on yesterday's highlights. Froome made himself sound a bit of a bedwetter with his comments about Contador's descending. Guess what Chris? It's a race, people are pushing themselves ridiculously hard.
Adds a bit of intrigue though. I honestly can't remember a better Tour to this. Still wish Nibali was there. Hopefully he'll be back for a proper ding dong next year.
Time trials usually bore me to tears but today looks like it will be well worth watching, especially if it rains. Inrng reckons some riders might swap a road bike for a full TT rig halfway through.

What would the 1980's bike gods like Kelly and Hinault have made of Froome's whinge?
Hinault would of punched Contador and then wrestled a farmer.

Dont think he was 'taking it easy'

This. If Froome tried punching someone his arm would snap off

Looks like rain over the next few days. If Froome has any problems with reckless descending, could be magnified. It was the weather that cracked him at Tirenno, imo.

I wouldn't fancy chasing Contador down the Sarenne descent tomorrow if it's wet.
Would be funny if Kreuziger ended up winning. (I know this won't happen).
