Which bone did you break in your wrist last time?
-
• #1029
Scaphoid
-
• #1030
OH POOTS. Sadface. How are you doing now?
Shoulder still giving me jip/not able to move arm comfortably into a bike riding position. Sad face indeed :(
Could be worse etc etc.

• #1031
Scaphoid
Oh dear, sorry to hear that. Such a bastard bone, fingers crossed it isn't the same again.
-
• #1032

• #1033
Ha cheers
-
• #1034

I can confirm from previous experience that breaking ones scaphoid does not inhibit finger dexterity. Hallelujah

Flicking bogies is strictly off
Back from docs with co-codamol and muscle soreness no whiplash as EVERYONE wants me to have but sod that I just want my bike repaired/replaced and travel costs re-imbursed.

There's a good chance you'll be needing all the proof and evidence you can get - does Jet have CCTV? It could well get wiped often so need to move fast
Heal quick
Scaphoid = worst bone ever. Except possibly those weird ones in the ear.

I spoke to them later when the manager was back and he called me back saying he can just make it out and has burned it to disk to wait for a requisition by police or solicitor. I know I can ask for it but I'll leave Levenes to it.

Good - should help your case
-

Bloody typical. The day after I do up my bar tape all nice some chump steps out in front of me wiping us both out and scuffs it all up.
Every time. -
• #1040
I had taken off my Turbo to sell it then busted it and probably the post too
-
• #1041
So annoying right?
-
• #1042
Bikes been written off.
Gutted.
-
• #1043
Fuck. That's shit news on top of the injury, sorry to hear that.
-

Worse thing is the quote to replace is 180 quid
-
• #1045
Setting out for my thursday hour and a half of power, got hit by a car.
Classic. Taco'd wheel. Nothing else to report.
Annoyed by not training more than being hit. -
• #1046
What happened? Good you're not hurt.
-
• #1047
I'll draw it. Give me a second:
Basically, cycling along at a decent pace, but not too fast, as was filtering. Then I assume the lorry was like "Flash" come on out, and she did and drove straight into me.
Bruises I think. Some cuts. Relatively big dent in car.
Think bike is fine... (hope bike is fine) -
• #1048
Pretty standard crash, tbh.
-
• #1049
Well done on including the poo. And as you say, a pretty standard regents type of crash.
So what happened afterwards, did you throw the poo at the driver and demand unmarked bills?

Well I gave her a hug. She was in a little bit of shock.
They put my wrist in a splint due to the fracture I had before and need to go back for another xray. Calf is starting to hurt which I can oly assume is the car impact.
Going docs soon as taxi (missus) arrives apparently got to have everything checked again
