Thanks to organisers, riders, sponsors, bar staff etc. I'd planned to spectate, little suspecting that the whole of my family and our two weekend guests said they'd like to come along as well, so I rode over with two sons while the others came by car for four hours of relaxing sunshine and watching the bikes go round and round. Saw many familiar faces on the track and in the crowd. Drank beer. Failed to wear a hat. Picked up some pedals from Hoefla. Went home v happy.

I admired the Ramayehat, in fact I have one like that at home that I should have brought with me, but it doesn't have sunglasses attached.

I had a great time. My only grumble/suggestion is that the trade stalls could have been way better. TFG should have had a bunch of stuff from the shop on show. I reckon the number of people drinking all day In the sun would have equalled some good sales.

I agree Omar, this will be addressed next year. TFG along with the rest of us weren't expecting quite as many people to turn up to a 'test event'. It will be more organised next year.
