Two great goals. Think Spain will be kicking themselves if they don't go on and win this... Torres with a one on one, heavy second touch and a great standing tackle from buffoon denies him...

ITV not showing the time or score. Just a blank screen. Idiots

I'm not a big fan of Stephan Andersen at all, but I don't recall it as 'clutching his face'. My first reaction was that he was filming as well, but the replay convinced me otherwise. Plus having an arm kicked back, a Dutchman tumbling into your shoulder/side of head, I'd flap about a bit as well - might even clutch my head...
What a load of boolacks!
He rolled over about 6 times?! Why would anyone feel the need to do that...especially if you'd just been kicked in the arm/shoulder

FFS Carragher is on ITV as a pundit, what is the world coming to?
-
• #207
I'd rather him on TV in a studio wearing a whistle than on TV on the pitch trying to play football

Watching Torres today was a bit like watching a boxer have one too many fights
Fair play to Libpool though, £50m for a player that was finished by injury 2yrs previous is good businessOh but he scored a goal against Barcelona

Ireland are at best a top 8 Championship side

If you believe everything in the tabs, if Baines goes to Utd we're supposedly replacing him with Stephen Ward....for £5m!!!!!!!! He's absolutely wank!
Also bare in mind The Mirror also quoted the original price for Baines to Utd as £5m

Wasn't Stephen Ward something to do with Christine Keeler?
-
• #214
So he was.

• #215
Yep, he yentzed it

Robbie Keane has just said that while he is sad that Ireland lost, he is happy it was to Croatia, the team he supported as a boy.

Yep.
It's the only decent thing we have done for two years. That and sponsorship deals -

Don't forget the Carling Cup. That's the one they all want to win these days.

Doesn't really matter, does it? No goal was scored, no one was booked.
And that was the only thing, that might look a bit dodgy from the Danish team, unlike the Dutch, who had van Rapist running around swinging elbows left and right, while van Bommel was his usual self on the midfield... -

Yeah, I'm not part of this Dutch love-in that people seem to have in these tournaments. They are mostly a bunch of violent, diving, cheating wankers and I hope they get knocked out the group along with Portugal. Not sure who to support now the Irish look like they are on the first flight home. Probably have to go with the Germans as they always pull it off in somehow, even with the youngest squad

O Rly?
He was 10 before Croatia even existed, 13 before it joined UEFA an FIFA and 16 before it played a competetive international match.

I thought he supported Liverpool as a boy?

Good day of football yesterday.
Little bit apprehensive about tonight's game. The French are a funny team in that they can either be a great team or crap. I guess the same as England!
Predictions for tonight then?

England, we're not Ireland. But not that far off. Basically.
Balotelli needs sound kind of psychological assistance. He's perplexing
