Well played Denmark. No steak dinner for me tonight. Two packets of monster munch it is. Predictions for Germany - Portugal. 2- 1 German win

I wouldn't call this a choke by the dutch. It's a demonstration of the problems they have incorporating VP and Huntelaar in their wing forward oriented side.
Danish Keeper was an embarrassment rolling around like that.

Uhm, thought the same at first, but did you see what happened to his right arm?

Thoroughly deserved win btw. Anyone fielding van Persie deserves to lose... Same thing with Pepe, so I'm expecting a German 4-1 victory...

No, what happened to his arm?

No, what happened to his arm?
His right hand got hit by the strikers boot, and kicked backwards. I'd have rolled around a bit as well ;)

Jesper it was his hand/arm that hurt how comes he was clutching his face? Germany's win and Hollands loss makes that group really interesting
Also Del Bosque going without a striker against the five man defence of Italy, could come back to bite him.. -

pictures?

Maggio gave all three goals away to russia. Now he's got Iniesta coming at him.
-
• #198
Then again, he hasn't got a striker to pass to.
Spain have made another conceptual leap here. 1st the high pressure and defending on the edge of the opponents box. Now they simply think of the keeper as just another defender; all you do is just pass your way round him. The next step is clearly to not field a 0-10-0 formation

Iniesta feels like the man most likely to unlock the Italian door. Buffon hasn't had to do much but his goal feels like its much more under threat... Lots of last ditch challenges flying in to repel the Spanish boarders..

I'm not a big fan of Stephan Andersen at all, but I don't recall it as 'clutching his face'. My first reaction was that he was filming as well, but the replay convinced me otherwise. Plus having an arm kicked back, a Dutchman tumbling into your shoulder/side of head, I'd flap about a bit as well - might even clutch my head...
What if that question is ' how do you score against Cardiff City?'
