  • Let's hope France do every football fan a favour and put the England team in it's place.
Considering the "top" teams have pretty poor in their opening games so far (Germany, Netherlands, Spain) they'll probably nick a draw or a one goal margin win.

  • O Rly?

He was 10 before Croatia even existed, 13 before it joined UEFA an FIFA and 16 before it played a competetive international match.

    nice one BQ !!

  • If you believe everything in the tabs, if Baines goes to Utd we're supposedly replacing him with Stephen Ward....for £5m!!!!!!!! He's absolutely wank!

Also bare in mind The Mirror also quoted the original price for Baines to Utd as £5m

if baines and fellani leave, then so does moyes, followed shortly afterwards by everton leaving the premiershit

    #stillhighfromcarlingcupwinandshirtsponsorshipdeal#

  • Watching Torres today was a bit like watching a boxer have one too many fights
Fair play to Libpool though, £50m for a player that was finished by injury 2yrs previous is good business

Oh but he scored a goal against Barcelona

did torres score in the euro's yet ?

  • Robbie Keane has just said that while he is sad that Ireland lost, he is happy it was to Croatia, the team he supported as a boy.

    Ha

    O Rly?

I thought he supported Liverpool as a boy?

    D'oh.

  • Let's get this right. When choosing who to follow on an international stage (you don't support germany unless you are planning on buying the shirt / going to games, that kind of thing) you dismiss teams who do things that are bad (diving, cheating) and settle for the team that wins. Two things strike me -

    (1) Why not go for the team that plays the football you most like watching, or maybe a country you have an affinity with?

    (2) Your criteria for following an international team seem diametrically opposed to your criteria for following a domestic team.

oh my dayz you are pedantic. let things go!

  • Oh please.
No one quote this dickhead from now on. Especially in response to any of my posts. He is one of only two people on my ignore list for a reason

  • Have you got 'scoble on ignore too then?

  • Pisti, you won't get an answer, Mike can't see your posts

  • Have you got 'scoble on ignore too then?

lol no I find his posts quite funny.
The only other person was fourteenwinters but he seems to have gone anyway.

  • Is there anyway to find out if anyone's ignoring you?

  • What did neu say?

  • I don't believe there is, I'm sure I saw it discussed before. Only VB will have that power

  • No one gonna reply?

  • England, we're not Ireland. But not that far off. Basically.

    Ha.

  • Oh please.

PM coming (serious - we made a bet).

Mikec, Jeez says he's about to send you a PM, just to let you know.
    You never know.. ;)

  • A bet is fine. Jeez can contribute my winnings to the forum when I win. In the unlikely event he wins it then I will respond to a PM. Although we are talking about next May!!

  • Just had a quid on France to win 5—0 at 150/1 although just seen it for 450/1 too

  • Don't stop believing

  • 475/1 with Paddy Power - France to drub the Anglais, 5-0 - 'ave it!

  • That's not going to happen though is it. Hence the odds. What are they offering for 3 nil?

  • France to win by 3 is down at 20 / 1.

  • just put a grand on that 5-0 result and retirement is yours for the taking

quit today be on the beach by tomorrow

  • Or put a grand on it loose it and your wife.

  • win / win right ?
