  • Please remember to include size and delivery address in the payment notes

  • Does anyone have one of these on a Histogram?

Just realised I asked this question about a week ago in this thread, doyyyyyy

  • @tester - Am I too late to get in on this batch?

I'm just going to look back to the thread to work out how to determine the correct sizing but if I'm too late I won't bother. (it's for my 2009 Cervelo P2 with Cane Creek IS-3 headset).

  • Still time to get a custom size, and there will be standard sizes available too.

  • What are the standard sizes and do you keep a stash of them?

Also when's the deadline? I don't have a set of verniers to hand but waving a WHSmiths ruler around I'm 99% sure that the I need a diameter of 45m and a depth of 3mm. Would like to be a bit more certain before I make a mistake though.

  • I'll make spares in 45/46/47mm diameters by 2mm deep. In theory, I think 45×2 should fit a P2, pretty sure I've sold that size to other P2 riders and it's what I've got on my T3

  • These are now out for production:

    1. umop3pisdn 46/3/1/black
    2. noiser 46/2/1/black
    3. vneilv 47/2/1/black
    4. Branwen 49/2/1/black (31.75 mm steerer tube)
    5. Peteyboy 51/2/1/black

These aren't because they haven't been paid for:

    1. TM ?tbc?/black
    2. Scunny ?tbc?/black
    3. ydog 47/2.5/1/black

TM, Scunny and anybody else unsure of what size you need, there will be spares in 2mm deep as noted above, first come first served.

ydog, you've missed your chance to get a custom 2.5mm deep one in this batch

  • I'm going to buy a set of vernier callipers tomorrow so that I can make an accurate measurement in the evening. Will there be time to order a non standard design then? If not then I'll take first dibs on one of the standard black 45/2 versions.

  • Too late now for customs, but I think you should be OK with a 2mm deep one on a Cervelo

  • Cool well put me down for one of them then.[strike] £10 innit? To the same address as last time?[/strike]

Will pay in the morning as I need my phone to log into paypal.

  • Paid.

  • etd? x

  • Should be picking them up from the machinist in about an hour from now, assuming he's done them then they should ship late next week.

Edit: Should have waited until I actually had them in my hand before replying. The turner is now hoping to do them over the weekend, if that happens then delivery schedule should be unaffected.

    I reckon its 46 OD / 3mm recess...but could be 2mm!

  • How are we doing for delivery times on these mate?

  • Pick up from anodiser in about an hour from now, post Saturday morning, should arrive with you Monday.

    Awesome! Thanks a lot.

  • Sorry for the delay been working alot, I'm off work all week now and will get measured tomorrow!

    Has this been resolved yet?

  • Hi Tester, apologies for the delay. Could I grab one of the 47 x 2mm spares? I have just transferred the funds.

  • OK, will post Monday or Tuesday.

  • My Testercover™ mkll doing it's job:

  • Ghetto slamm-age. Close enough for now I think. Will post some better before and after photos when I get a chance (and cleaned the bike!).
    Pleased as punch though

  • Clearly didn't need the shims :-)

  • Mine arrived this morning too. Unfortunately I'm not 100% sure I have a bike to put it on anymore.
