ffffuuuuuuuuuu pervious owner of the cranks neglected to mention that he had snapped off and rounded a ring bolt!
becuase they're one sided you can't get the bastard out easily either. Luckily I work in a engineering Dept. so come tuesday I will be paying a vist to the workshop boys to see what can be done.

i doubt i'll find any more of these cranks for under 40 quid. I'll try a bolt remover on tuesday and then if not i could always machine the support out get a new one put in, wont cost me anything, but hopefully it wont come to that.

what tyres are you getting? I just got my frame back from armourtex and will have the same problem with clearance. on the front mostly

47t mavic chainring purchased, should fit perfectly with the cranks once i fix the sheered bolt problem.
Also white strong V's came for the risers, just waiting for the chain to come back in stock and cranks to be ready so i can sort the BB

i used my now pedalthreadless starfish with a 111mm veloce bb.. worked a treat.. they must be available in italian treat?! otherwise,i have some chorus italian thread sealed bb cups which I'ld part with.. fit centaur and chorus and probably record too..
were you using them with a single ring?
