May I ask who the other two candidates were and how you decided on me?
Well Dom said I had three guesses, but really there were no other candidates, no need to think too hard before deciding... maybe if you hadn't been pushing me in the back while I was trackstanding earlier on I wouldn't have suspected you first (:

In the event, it seems the Catford massive didn't escape the gravity pull of Rosie's bbq.

Hope you heal up soon Andy, if only because your leg looked kind of creepy...

^^So that's where they all were... Not a bad choice to be fair IMO.
It really was a bit too hot for riding around so much

Not really dude... Aches and pains on both shoulders, 2 fingers minus skin, dent in my shin, torn something in my knee.
Won't be cycling for a good week or so I reckon

I've got some to come - just need the tramadol to wear off so I can work out uploading them

Mate if you think you might have torn something in your knee I'd seek medical attention fairly sharpish. RICE in the meantime.
Just speaking from experience of tearing knee ligaments before. Its the sort of injury that you need to treat correctly and quickly to recover fully from.

Going to have a long cold bath, see how much the swelling and bruising goes down, then if walking is easier I'm getting a cab to Tooting hospital.

Take care, Andrew. Be sure to rest up well before getting back on a bike, hard as that may be.
-
• #345
You might as well mate. They might not be that helpful though, if so...go and see GP tomorrow.
Good luck

What a great day out. Just a shame I didn't make it south but made it up by partially walking up the swain's and finishing the ride until the end with another seven guys.
@ all the ladies: where the hell have you all been/disappeared?
I am so fucking sunburnt.
When I got home I wasn't sure if I was sunburnt, so I slapped myself on the arm quite hard. I was sunburnt.
My shoulders are in a lot of pain as I have been slapped few times by people who wanted to check whether it was a actual sunburn.
@Andy HTFU and stop riding into the stationary vehicles... Get well soon

Just out of interest, when was the last time that there was a GSIAD or Guinness Ride where nobody suffered an injury?
To an outsider of these rides it seems like somebody does a collarbone or falls off every time.

Or Ho's quick left turn out of the Jolly Butchers. Look out!
Skills! It was like watching someone step out of the window on the 15th floor.
Oh, Clissold Park was a good idea.
