Avoid the pothole path by the A104, Avey Lane, single file on the B195 to Lower Nazeing, loop around the lions, Wharf road to the canal, Gunpowder Park, Mott Street, Lipitts, Bury Lane.

FYI - the Killing Me Soft Lea route looks to go right near Cheshunt station and the Lee Valley White Water Centre - Olympic venue.

I haven't looked in great detail, (I can't make it on Tuesday) but some of the route might be blocked for Spectator access from Cheshunt Station to LVWWC.

Not sure if it's in session when you'll be riding, or if there are parts fo the bike route closed, but might want to check the route against the travel map.

note: I will most likely have two gamins by this ride. I shall be doubling up to make sure we don't get lost

Part of our route is on the "recommended cycling route" for the venue so I'd imagine we would be allowed to ride down there. Also looking at the schedule I think the day's events will be long finished by the time we'd be passing.

Might be worth asking a security guard if there's one there when you do the recce Benjam.

Checked out the Olympic route again this eve. Got as far as Hampton Court before I remembered that it's all just trafficy nightmares.

when do the trains get into chingford? if I'm not snowed under with work I'll ride out* for this one.
