I'm already familiar with sites like Raceshape that will let you analyze segment times against other people on the leaderboard but does anyone know of a site that lets you load up, lets say, a given ride you and several others have done and then analyze that like you would do with an individual ride on strava.
AFAIK Veloviewer used to allow you to this but it stopped working when Strava changed their API.

We all need our gadgets.
I went out on yesterdays run wearing a HRM belt, my Garmin 910xt GPS/altometer watch, bluetooth headphones, a nathan water belt with nuun enhanced water and my smartphone in it, compression shorts and t-shirt, technical running socks, in-vogue bare-foot running shoes, and various winter layers.
Getting ready felt like a scene from commando.
So definitely not a weight weenie then...

Wow, I thought I was getting all serious when I bought the Forerunner. I also run with an mp3 player. I'm obviously doing it all wrong with my stock running shoes, 3/4 length joggers and cotton tshirts.
Must try harder

Actually looking at a 5kg weighted running vest right now. So no ;-)

I still need a running cadence foot pod.
......Then maybe tensionmeters grafted to my leg bones.

Epic furry moobs that could make a grown man forget all ills.

If you go to a premium membership, do you get access to all Sufferfest vids whenever you want, or is there just a small selection?
-
• #2734
You get a monthly selection of three, by the look of it.
-
• #2735
I thought it was just a selection. Or even a specific vid or so each month or so.
If it is all of them. Thats makes a years membership worthwhile instantly.
I'm a few vids off owning the lot. Best thing to happen to indoor training. I fecking detest them.
-
• #2736
all 3 videos are mostly in threshold and/or vo2 max zones, which isn't exactly suitable for the winter base training.
-
• #2737
That's the thing y'see... I've got a couple of videos already and was thinking of getting a few more. But if you get loads on Strava premium, that seems to make more sense, particularly given you get the other bits with the premium membership.
Wasn't gonna use it for base training, wanted them for intervals and threshold etc

It's got Fight Club, Revolver, and Rubber Glove on it right now. I don't feel very excited about it, tbh.
-
• #2739
Revolver is my favourate.
No flashy steps, pyramids, spirals or anything too technical.
Just sprint/recover/sprint/recover.........ad infinium. -

Isnt that just turbo training though.
I realise in theory you could do a 3 hour endurance ride. But blah, no thanks.

Wow, it's like Back to the Future. How is 1983?
-
• #2742
Don't know, you seem to remember it better.
-
• #2743
Bet he even does his winter miles on a fixed wheel bicycle...

Strava should ban the segment. Walk ways are not for racing.

I thought that's what they always did when someone flagged it?

Really?
Can you flag a segment for being innappropriate?
-
• #2750
Yeah. I thought it was common knowledge. Pretty sure it's fairly in your face.
Doing it wrong.
