Maybe not. I thought it used to have its own button.

  • You can. But it doesn't stop someone creating a new identical segment.

  • Flag it also. Quicker to flag than to create.

  • 85 miles @ 15.5mph avg on 69gi (45:17). 1800ft climbing. Headwind for at least 20 miles.

    Gran Fondo 1: done.

  • ^strong work

  • Missed top twenty this morning by something over two minutes. Ah well.

  • 129.6km to really annoyingly miss out on completing the grand fondo challenge, will have to try again next week!

  • Fix the 400 meters Notepad'ding your GPX file & hit cream'n'cake right away.

  • meh, wouldn't have been difficult to add on some extra distance to get across the line if I'd known I was short of the mark, and headed out for a 5k run afterwards, it just leaves that carrot dangling in front of me for next Saturdays club ride, although at 60 miles its going to be another long solo ride at either the start or finish to get to the right number...

  • Sorting out what carrots works 4u is a nice achievement.

Did mine on 2nd January 89 miles @ 14.8mph on 70.2 gear inch (48-18) single speed with 5100 feet of elevation.

  • Good work man, went out for a long one this morning and forgot about the Gran Fondo. Ended up 15 miles short, that said I had no food to carry on for another 15, maybe next weekend.

  • 47p2 - should've thrown in duke's, top of the world, & the crow ; )

  • 47p2 - should've thrown in duke's, top of the world, & the crow ; )

Done the Crow, Top of the World and Tak on the S/S, still got the Dukes to conquer yet...some day soon

  • Any messengers in London using Strava during work?

  • Hmmmm... apparently my ride home yesterday took place in March 2016.

    WTF? 18,800hrs elapsed time?

  • Ahhh. They've killed Strava. New activity layout. First impressions are not good.

  • Ah, bellends...

I though it had just defaulted back to the beta test again when I logged in tonight, but no, they've broken something that didn't need fixing in the first place. Doesn't work well, clumsy interface, and not particularly intuitive.
What the hell was wrong with how it was?

  • 100% agree. I had a free monthly premium membership and it kept trying to show me the beta version of this and I hated it. So relieved when I noticed you could opt back to classic view. No such option now. Bellends indeed.

  • It's the same as the running one now. I can't see how you can view a "lap" either, how helpful.

  • $110 for a shiny rare "oh my god you're soood sad you loser" Gran Fondo 1 jersey.

    Tempted.

  • $124 with delivery. Just bought 3.

  • I have no interest in the jersey but I'm desperate for the electronic base after my ride after corrections and my inability to convert miles to km left me at 129.6km.

I shall be successful this week...

From looking at the coloured bar beneath the middle pocket there's some, erm, interesting colours of the jerseys coming out over the course of the year!

Next few editions look very pastel-y - have a feeling if I get any of them it'll be November or December's.
