  • nothing is descending anywhere, I am hardly on strava.

  • I walked to the shops to buy a couple of blocks of chocolate, a pack of M&Ms and a box of Magnums. Where does this go in Strava?

I've also just installed Windows 7 because this laptop is 32 bit and I've only got Windows 8 x64 media. How should I rate the stress this has caused me? Is a scale of 1-10 appropriate? Should I try for a KOM? Does my bum look big in this?

  • Oh god, there's an ad on TV for Friends. That's just ramped my Strava Stress Score to max. There's no way I can sustain this. Out.

  • It's OK, they just added Challenges to the Android app

  • i.e. just because you don't think it's "worthy" doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Are you suggesting I make value judgements? How very dare you.

Did we ever clear up the question of what happens when a tree falls in a wood, but nobody sees it? I see parallels...

Strava is a willy-waving ride diary, so yes you may as well not record your commutes in it if you don't want to offend Fox.

lol. Dont' worry, I'm not easily offended :)

Strava your training, blog your commutes, autobiog your races, tweet your grievances, die alone.

An epitaph for the modern age...

  • Don't forget to record your sleep patterns, your food diary, a daily psychological profiling test, a sex and masturbation chart, and a weekly bicycle diagnostic report. It all adds up, particularly the masturbation.

Should I also be logging my stools for optimum performance?

  • If you weigh your self then you are logging your stools, in a way.

  • bmmf what was your weapon of choice for the west highgate ratio-wise?

There's always full disclosure in the comments. Probably too much fucking disclosure, to paraphrase Spinal Tap.

    Tautology at its worst.

    ?

  • that's the end of strava then.

  • Strava for drivers (sort of the opposite, but the gamification is similar):

  • Is anyone else having issues with strava on android since the most recent update a couple of weeks ago?
Now mine regularly 'loses' rides and doesn't sync.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail...

  • Strava struggles with the wide variety of Android hardware and software configurations, older Android handsets suffer the most- you are probably best off reverting to an earlier release of Strava, or buying a new phone.

  • I chased my dog around a field the other day.

    Strava'd that shit.
It looks good next to other peoples century rides and such.

  • I've often wondered about the best way to attach a garmin to the dog.

  • Pop-rivets.

  • Does my bum look big in this?

The answer to this question is always: yes.

I get her to eat it.

Yes. Updated and seems to be working as long as wi-fi is connected for upload etc.

Y'all don't think Garmin haven't thought of this already?

The GTU 10 is small, lightweight and waterproof. It easily attaches to a backpack, pet collar or whatever is important to you.

Got an email back from strava. Server error apparently. They've fixed it now and my rides are ok. So ner ner ner on your 'old phone' idea Neil! :)
