rode out to Cambridge on Sunday. nice to see some familiar names on the segments

My time for my last KOM has disappeared! The segment now shows my old time of 1 minute instead of my time of 50 seconds from two weeks ago, bumping me down to second place! The ride still shows my 50s time, though.

Has anyone else experienced this injustice!?

I think you can only crop the beginning and end bits out on Strava but this might do it?

Veloviewer, which takes all it's information from Strava, puts my mileage for this year at 7,362km.

Strava puts my mileage for this year at 4,284 miles.

Am I a mental, or is there a discrepancy between these two figures?

Yes, c.470km extra on your Veloviewer.

Sorry that's not helpful at all, that's probably the answer you got too, unless you actually used a calculator.

Does Veloviewer count rides you've marked as private or commutes?

I don't mark my rides, so I doubt it's that.

Recently I did have to re-upload this years ROTFL ride as for some reason it had been deleted- if I'd not gone back to look at it and found it wasn't there I'd never have known, if that makes sense?

Could that mean that Veloviewer has counted all the rides you've uploaded to Strava, whereas Strava has deleted a few in the meantime?

I didn't want to say anything, but I actually took 200km of Dammit's Strava to dope my own figures a bit.

Is anyone doing the festive 500? I got an email about it yesterday, I reckon it'll give me something to do when I'm not stuffing my face with chocolate orange.

Yes, fam. Going to try, anyway. I actually read the email wrong and thought it was 500 miles in 7 days instead of a measly 500km, so it should be fairly easy. If it rains I will not succeed at this mission.

My target (which is a bit of a stretch, I admit) is 700 miles by the end of the year.

That's purely so I end up on a nice round number.
