  • Very apt. Tweet that at Sherwen and I'm sure it would get aired during the tour, (with or without acknowledgement).

  • I think the only thing Wiggo will test positive for is Strawberry flavoured Slimfast.

have you seen his fucking legs? He makes a rider having Ricketts look like an aerodynamic advantage because i can't figure out how he generates enough wattage out of those pins to run an L.E.D let alone skip up the Colombier like a belgian missionary at band camp.

  • Paul Sherwen can suck my balls till they 'explode all over his face: Boom!'.

  • I thought Wiggins looked less emaciated this year (at this point in the season).

  • perv^^

  • Sky were furiously tweeting pics of the team warming up on turbos before the stage today due to instant climb from the start.

Now not just for TT's? and proper warm downs just seem sensible but no-one else seems to be doing them except Sky either.

  • I thought Wiggins looked less emaciated this year (at this point in the season).

That's like comparing Zimbabwe's GDP, interesting exercise but basically the same result. He needs to find the time for a few more pork pies and a bit of Paul Weller does that lad.

  • Maybe today was bum's and tums day. ^

  • He needs a bit less Paul Weller, and a bit more Jam.

  • too many carbs and sugar in the Jam.

  • Tim Kerrison is the coach I had in mind; used to work with British swimmers.
The point I think you are missing is that, as I say, I think Wiggins is clean but it's easy to see why people would believe otherwise, if they want to.
I don't think Wiggins is boring at all, quite the opposite. He seems to be withdrawing a bit in order to concentrate on what will probably be the best chance he ever has to win the Tour. If the climbs are dominated by Sky like they were today though it could be a boring race.

  • Wiggo's performances are entirely credible, too bad he never got a good shot at the tour last year.

Schleck on the other hand... if he is up there come tour time I will be amazed-he looks a shadow of what he was even last year.

  • I think he's (Wiggo's) incredibly boring and straight, but an amazing talent, and doing everything right to capitalize on his best shot at the Tour. Good luck to him, as undoubtedly he'll need it.

As for Schleck, he looks allergic to sitting on a bike and should just go back to finishing school and get a job in a bank.

  • I did feel a little uncomfortable when those puff piece articles with Wiggins came out a couple of weeks back, because they followed 'the secret to my unbelievable form is ' formula.

As when Novak Djokovic came out with an explanation for his sudden imperiousness of a gluten free diet and spending time in his pressurised egg. No doubt that was what allowed him to compete with an allegedly chemically enhanced Spaniard.

  • Straight?
Obviously he's no Tommy Steele but he's still cool, Daddy-O.

  • He's like an *edgy *estate agent. Went with Foxtons due to getting the mod-est company car.

  • It's amazing how you know everything, it's that what you can define door to doorism?

  • I only know it because he came round telling us how much Foxtons would like to help us cash in on our flat by renting it to city slickers, and remained pushy even after we'd told him we rented our flat and were politically opposed to right-to-buy, let alone buy-to-let.

The single most performance enhancing move I've made as a cyclist was to switch to a gluten free diet. I went from being at the back of the group I rode with, to dropping them all on every climb within a matter of weeks.

Cav has suddenly cut out sugar and lost a load of weight. O RLY

  • Or, speaking of boring Tour specialists, 'Big Wig'.

I think the only thing Wiggo will test positive for is Strawberry flavoured Slimfast.

    Not sure if serious

  • If you've got coeliac disease, going gluten-free is bound to have positive effects on performance, even if it's just the fact you don't feel horribly bloated. Have you ever tried going full gas uphill (seated or standing) when you've got chronic wind? It's neither very pleasant, nor very possible.

  • Are you saying Andy is / was full of wind?

  • Very serious. I was full of wind, now not so much.

    I also have coeliac disease.
