  • I'm pretty over the Low// now, and the price hike is ridiculous. I know it's not hand welded in san fran but for instance Factory Five will get you a custom built frame to your spec for half that and within maybe a month rather than a year.

A friends low was due about 4 months ago and is still not here. Bit of a piss take.

    Yep.

Ordered mine in December last year. Paid for in full. Didn't even get the email regarding the additional extra 2 months waiting time. Got an email the first week of August saying it was being fabricated and now it's all gone quite. Emailed maybe a week ago asking if there was any further news regarding when it would be shipped and so far I've heard nothing... Can't lie although I'm still really excited to get this frame I can help but feeling they've taken the piss at TM says.

  • Can't remember where i read it, but i thought Low// went out of business? from what i herd i wouldn't be surprised.

Edit: may of been prolly's blog or flickr.

  • ^fuck me sideways if thats true...

Pretty sure that's not true. With the price hike and waiting time extended along with workshop/force expansion it doesn't look very likely...

    • nothing on their website as well.
  • diy frame from finland:

    about low frames:
ordered mine last november and got it mid july. Their supplier was out of chainstays for 2 months so every frame is delayd. But yeah, their customer support sucks, but it is basically because andrew does everything himself. If he has 8 to 10 months que I can imagine he has 100-150 customers waiting (if he does around 15 frames per month) plus I'd gess about the same amount of people intrested. That is a lot of emails to deal with. Not that I agree how he handles the email side of things and the absence of information, I just somehow see why it is how it is. Just amazing frame, really happy with mine.

  • that konga is awesome.
seatpost mast is the future of hhsb!

  • Black out the cranks and this would be damn near my perfect bike.

  • Last two are excellent.

  • Have we had this one before - it seems vaguely familiar

    I likes a good indy-fabs though

  • Clearances are huge.

  • probably because those forks aren't the original ones

  • but the ones on the back are also pretty generous too - seems to be quite a trait of indys

  • thats just like kona paddywagon only expensive

  • low profile rims, front brake, winter trainer...

  • Nice page thanks SadR!

    I very want a Corima 3 spoke...

  • cutting the steerer tube isn't very popular in the hhsb scene, i assume

  • it is if you want some slamdatstem™

I assume some don't to keep the resale value of expensive forks...

  • white tires? really?

  • ^ What frame is that?

I wanted one of they alien frames from norway but they don't even reply to email so no much hope in sticking a order in for one like!

  • does anyone have an idea how they ride though? quite cheap for an alu frame
