That looks like Cannondale challenging Campag for the title of "most expensive SRM".
I'll PM Ramon a couple of sides of A4 on the implications at once, just in case he's tipped over into insomnia recently.

Have you seen the SISL2?

Just been having a look- from the photographs it appears that the arms are the same as the SiSl?
The one piece rings and spider look rather Spiderman

Looks like I'm keeping the Arx stem then:
-
• #735
are you selling the rest of the bike and only keeping the stem?
-
• #736
That would lighten it up pretty quick.

< preferred the brick ;-)
looks good and I'm sure it is a few grams lighter ..

The
brickoriginal stem, spacers, and forks are all neatly stored boxed and in bubblewrap. If I ever sell it I can put it back to it's original condition very rapidly.

You buggers are never happy.
In other news, since I put the 11-25 cassette on I cannot get the indexing spot on, and in certain gears it makes a horrible noise.
TTing last night I could not use the two highest gears due to the "bag of spanners in washing machine" noise at high load/cadence.
Equally, low cadence high load generated a loud crack/bang in the 20T sprocket.
The 11-25 is DA 7900, the cassette I removed was a 12-27 DA 7900.
WTF?

Ipod on high volume. Sorted. Next.
I have a similar issue with one of the sprockets in the center of my 11-25 11-speed cassette. My thinking is its mainly down to the one piece alu cassette, and that I need to adjust the fore-aft position screw on the mech, if I'm to have any chance of sorting it. Its currently set up via the standard (I assume) indexing technique...
Align indexing while in second smallest sprocket.
Adjust fore-aft to narrowly clear the biggest sprocket.I'm going to try moving the rear mech further from the cassette.
I hate this indexing stuff, I'm shite at it. If only there was a type of bike without all this gears and free-wheels mallarkey.
The 11-25 is DA 7900, the cassette I removed was a 12-27 DA 7900.
Defo worth playing with the fore-aft screw (probably has a better name).

I thought you were tting on your fixed! I now feel better.

I have no idea how that apllies to lecy groupsets.

Had to cycle out there from work- which meant I turned up almost blown.
I'd have been fully blown if I'd gone out on the fixed!

Set upper and lower limit screws, then adjust mech so that chain runs A1 on the 5th sprocket. Done.
Or, in my case, not actually done. Frustrating thing is it worked perfectly before.
The b screw may hold answers, or possibly the mech hanger needs tightening, or the mech hanger bending fairy has visited in the night.

I think so.
I have zero feckling time at the mo though. Last night I barely had time to put air in my tyres :(

The route out is actually not too bad fixed, though the time constraints getting there are an interesting TT of its own.

1 hour, Farringdon to the head of the course.
Next week I'm going to do it differently. Either leave a lot earlier so I can gently warm up rather than smashing it, or drive.
My power output average was higher getting to the TT than it was during the TT.
=doing it wrong

Let's keep this about spacers and fore/aft screws eh? ;)
Glad to be of service.
