so raising money for charity is a bad thing?
Nope can't see it myself
No one mentioned anything about charity work being bad but take a look at the multitude of saying nothing, self obsessed fashionista blogs. When you find yourself shoulder to shoulder with those types via lfgss, then some will question it. I'm not dissing Jacqui and Teddy's epic graft; I'd have done the ride myself if not for a christening and I'd be more than happy to help out on future marshalling duties - if they wanted me.
[/whawhawha it's not my small cliquey elistist cycle thing any more etc.]

Tbf, its a bit sad that the ralph lauren propaganda posts don't mention the charity at all, and some people didn't know a charity was involved at all.

I think I could live my photograph going on a fashion blog.

you'd be happy appearing in the 'One for the Ladies' section of Razzle.

if the ride helps to put bikes in a part of the world that needs them then its job done. ralph lauren paid money presumably to have top billing, this isnt a bad thing. if another special is sponsored by moet and chandon and the mission is the same then i say give them a break and let them have their name in lights. we cant have it both ways. there are people in this world who need help and are probably grateful for the effort that jacqui+teddy inc put in.
@oliver schick cheers but i think you have forgotten about the blue tracksuitor has it grown on you. bavarian schick for the win :-)
see what i did there?

And you wouldn't? Would make the lifetime subscription worthwhile at least.
EDIT: coppi posted at same time as me, was referring to luci's sticky jazz mag habit.

The spokecards were £5 and all of that money went to charity, Fox and a few other people were selling them.
I don't think it's bad that famous people come. They're just people who heard about the ride and wanted to do it, to discriminate against them for wanting to do the same things everyone else is a bit unfair. I doubt that Erin O'Connor was trying to raise her profile by doing it, she just wanted to have a laugh with her friends. The Made in Chelsea people also probably would have done it and been equally annoying whether they were on a reality tv show or not.

^ I missed out on a spoke card. Would like to buy one still. Who's best to ask? Jacqui?

I actually chatted with Freddy from Meade in Chelsea and like you say, he was just another dude that wanted to go on a quirky ride. That's the beauty of the Tweed Run, they can go, we can go, we can all go. I don't see how their presence infringed on my fun.

theres already been an old-school hiphop ride right?
I think we can push it harder. I wanna try throwing it around til we find the failure point of gravity. I wanna take it down highgate, round the big roundabout and back onto holloway at full pelt. I reckon it could be done at night.
Ben's pictures look fantastic and i think we raised a few smiles so hopefully it was worth it
