I'm surprised edmundro and photoben didn't pile up that tricycle. I'll never forget them screaming off (parliament?) bridge at about 19mph, tweed flapping, Ben stood up on the back leaning madly into the corner, then screwing it round the bend without touching the brakes once.
Awesome stuff!

Cheers!
BTW - great set of shots you took too.

I commented about him needing to start with an adult sized tie as well.
On the plus side that may be the most flattering shot of me from behind, umm, ever.

Thanks to Ted, Jacqui, the marshals and everyone who made Saturday's ride such a big success. I loved every minute and talked to so many nice people.
My ride write up and video, which LOTS of you 'orrible lot are in, is here:
http://bit.ly/t9uCVqIt was great to meet General Lucifer (not nearly as scary as his avatar in real life you know) and to see Miss Mouse who totally rocked her fur hat all the way round the ride. Photoben was just pure entertainment all the way round on his photochariot.

Calm leadership from Aram despite puncture at the start.
It was particularly lovely that those not officially signed up to marshal dived right in where they saw a need. Big up to unharmed, General Lucifer, villa-ru (+ utterly adorable ru junior) and any others on here who did that.
yes, the biggest thank you to all of those who helped.. so brilliant. xx

was this tweed induced?
I don't think it was a wardrobe malfunction, I suspect changing vintage bike with something that's been in the shed for 2 decades with no care might explain it.
Also thanks to the guys from tally ho bikes who were very nice when I knocked down the whole bloody lot of the bikes like dominoes getting my bike out at the start. Not my finest hour

What a fun day, I got a bit emotional towards the end as this was probably my last ride in London for some time.
I was the back marker marshal so it wasnt till Hyde park I saw the group again, was great to hear the lovely comments from the peds & odd motorist.
Thanks to Teddy & Jaqui for the epic organisation, Elguapo for the leadership & all other marshals & riders for making a very memorable day for me again.

Amazing day! Thanks, Jacqui, Teddy, marshalls. Feels like I've been repeating myself saying that again and again in the last years, but that's not a good reason for not saying it! Vive le Tweed Run!

Nah.
The fashion types and celebs are in the minority. Most people there are having a laugh, getting a bit pissed and dressing in a shambolic mixture of second hand clothing.![](http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7168/6407322931_c5a8bf9e55.jpg)
Gerald, you're looking quite Bavarian. :)
