Ace, you went to the same pubs that we enjoyed on the spring edition. The Devonshire is ace (only a few of us made it there last time). What village is the first one, does anyone know?
Xander I can't believe you rode that to Cambridge. Son I am disappoint.
Who's the guy with beard, Kona with saddlebag and moustachey bars? I rode for a bit with him on the OKR recently.

Who is the BALD MIDDLE-AGED guy with PATHETIC ATTEMPT AT A beard, Kona with OVERSIZED saddlebag FULL OF HEAVY CRAP THAT SERVES NO USEFUL PURPOSE and SILLY SIT UP AND BEG moustachey bars?
'Tis I, Mr Skully. Say hi next time! I ride up the OKR every morning to sell my soul to Mammon.

Nice one Steve. Congratulations! Any tips, advice or general Dad chat, feel free to get in touch.
I passed the peleton as they moseyed on through Epping about 11.20 and they seemed to be coping without you.
Enjoy the coming weeks. -

These pints at Furneux Pelham were raised in honour of the skivelet!
-
• #332
It was suggested that we "liberate" the Skivelette's first bike from the pub, but we were worried the front wheel might fall out if any awsome tricks were attempted...

Well done everybody. Looks like I missed a goodun.
Thanks for leading again Michael. I'm glad I took a weekend off the bike. I'm definitely nearly fixed now and there was a point on Saturday morning where I definitely would not have been able to be riding.
Whats this about Michael crashing out? OLC...was it better or worse than my crash on the descent into Brighton?

Dan, real shame you could not make it, but it was a stunning ride.
The sunset as we crossed into Cambridgeshire, and rolled to the city, was someting special.

Quick release fail. did a bunny hop and the front wheel flew out of the dropouts. Luckily used my ninja skills to jump/fall off without getting hurt!

I was awake from about 7 until 9 thinking you were coming round to pick up your other front wheel!
Glad you're ok.

You did exactly the same ninja pose as Dropout with his bike in that pic, only you did it upside down!

Going to have to correct you on this. That was my bike that Dropout was posing with in that pic. The day that John buys a new bike we should throw a party.

I saw you all setting off from High Beech, when I was arriving for my end of ride tea 'n' cake at High Beach.
Glad you all had a great day!

Thanks for yesterday's ride. I found it very fun and exciting! I sadly had a crash with my bike on my way home from King's Cross, but when I've got a new build, I'll be down for future rides!
-
• #342
The majority of my crashes happen at the end of long rides when I'm tired.
You ok?
-
• #343
Yeah I'm completely fine, surprisingly.
-
• #344

good that.
working there, have to say its a tough place for cyclists.
also, black cab den + shitload of buses. one can see a pattern emerging.. -
• #345
Yeah, something like two weeks ago a Japanese girl was killed on her bike at King's Cross.
-
• #346
She was Korean and her name was Min Joo Lee...details here http://www.lfgss.com/thread73386.html
