yeah the Ingatestone route looks pretty flat and a nice little winter distance. 27miles.
I'd be up for this.trains leave from Liverpool Street Station.

Can't commit 100% to this but I may be able to lead a ride out to Ingatestone station if anyone's up for that (and back too if you're feeling particularly masochistic). Failing that I have a route.

Also. Not sure I can get up early enough on a Saturday to ride from south London to Ingatestone by 9.30. Though now I'm on a list I will probably have to bail (always seems to happen)

Probs wouldn't be up for getting out of bed early enough to ride an extra 35m to Ingatestone... though saying that.. Tricitybendix, if you do this from south london, i would 100% join you.
And. I'm desperate for a good quality sexy hooded cycling waterproof... any recommendations?!

I'm going to be a benevolent dictator and decree an 11.30am start - from Ingatestone or Liverpool Street station.
Also anyone up for recce'ing the route and then leading?

Sally and Jana (re jacket), mine is size S and it's big enough to wear a few layers underneath, you both are smaller then me so I guess XS (or S?) would be good, I think Uniqlo runs big.
Sally, it's not the same you wore, this one I got on-line only few weeks ago when the sale started. It's one of the best jackets I ever had! I can't feel wind at all and it's perfect for a wet weather, ok maybe I wouldn't wear it in a heavy storm, but light/"normal" rain is really not a problem, underlayers stay dry! Oh! And I think it looks good too ;-) -

only xs m or l left.
Sorry, just noticed that. XS should be fine! Or you can keep it for a colder days, get size M and have plenty of space for lots of underlayers!
a lot of them are on bikely.com if you search TNRC or LFGSS you might find them. It really depends on who created teh route as to what user posted them. I think there is a link to them all in the TNRC thread, but finding it may not be so easy.
