Waaaahh! My bike is hurting me! I need to come over to someone's house who has a trainer so I can try out various saddle heights/positions. I've had to stop riding the Gazelle the pain in my knee is so bad! And I have to have the...is it brake cable or gear cable fixed? on the road bike before I can ride it. And the wedding bike DEFinitely won't do on a ride like this.

jayloo noo. but you have plenty time to get your cable fixed by 28th, no? or maybe you have new bike by then? (btw, lemme know if you're thinking about selling gazelle)

i'm up for reconnaissance & lead mission. just hope it isn't raining on the day i have free to go.
& if i lead, we will be going anticlockwise. because i prefer turning left.

Wanna borrow my rollers? They have a fork brace so you wont fall off.

I rode something like the Ingatestone ride on New Year's Day: lovely countryside and lots of "what kind of house is THAT".

It's worth making a small detour to Blackmore where there is the perfect Tea Shop - homemade cake, old china for sale, friendly welcome for cyclists, large mugs of tea, picture postcard location ...

Oh wow. This sounds fab! I won't however be able to make it this time round given I'm a newbie to the forum and also have another commitment but will defo be up for it next time. Have been looking for something like this since I made the move to London! hoorah! have also taken a look at the regular drinks you guys hold. Will make it on the 20th at The Crown :)

I am selling gazelle, which is called Leifje (Sweetie). It will likely be frame/forks, headset, bb. It is good policy to have a spare wheelset.

I will come if by then, by some miracle, I am packed and prepared to move on Sunday. But given my shambolic tendencies this is fairly unlikely.

Me too, I shall most probably either be househunting, packing and moving, or going to visit crazy aunt in Kent. If, in the tiniest possibility, I can make it, I most certainly will.
