Bollocks. Talk is cheap, as this bloke just found out.
He will come out of this smelling like roses if he logs in here, posts in names and faces to bikes and tells us about all the work he's doing in his capacity as a cycling Chairman for Transport and Environment. He could be a bloody legend, but so far all I know about him is that he's publically perpetuated poor perception of cyclists.
And it's a quiet day on the forum.
You coming out tonight?

So, @DanGarfield... talk to us!

Maybe... About to disassemble my bike though.
Walk? Pre-show tin somewhere? Are you leaving us again so soon?
-
• #88
Good one Alex. I have to say that being head of transport policy in Southwark is not something I'd be proud of. It's a mess.
-
• #89
@H, Yeah, can do a tin, but lets keep this about our brave cycling transport and environment committee chairman....
@DanGarfield, show us a picture of yourself on your bike showing us a picture of yourself.

Did he look both ways? Ignorant peds use their ears more than their eyes and wonder why they nearly get hit by bicycles.
The fact that this douche may held shape transport policy into the future is a disgrace.
yeah....for the next five minutes, dont worry too much about it, they never stay in the field of transport for very long

The vast majority of cyclists are responsible, law-abiding citizens and Southwark Cyclists work hard to promote responsible cycling.
apart from those ones that always creep across the white lines at red lights, and the murderous ones, and the wing mirror removers, and those that rlj....

thread derail.. lets not lose track of where our animosity should be focused
How can he be taken out of context from his own Twitter post?
What about his other Twitter posts:
'Did you nearly run me over on a bike 2 days ago or was it someone else'
'I don't hate cyclists in general, just the one who nearly ran me over'
