He will come out of this smelling like roses if he logs in here, posts in names and faces to bikes and tells us about all the work he's doing in his capacity as a cycling Chairman for Transport and Environment. He could be a bloody legend, but so far all I know about him is that he's publically perpetuated poor perception of cyclists.

On behalf of Southwark Cyclists and all cyclists in London, I wish to express my extreme disappointment in your comments.

Perhaps you could qualify them with details as to what this 'near death experience' entailed?

For someone in your position to broadly and publicly state your general hate for cyclists and calling us murderous requires some explanation, please.

I fail to see what your Tweet was trying to achieve. The vast majority of cyclists are responsible, law-abiding citizens and Southwark Cyclists work hard to promote responsible cycling.
