Looking for some help in finding wall mounted bed side lights. They’ll need to be plugged in jobbies. Switch at door will switch them on.
There are so many about but likely varying in quality. Any ideas!

Why control them at the door is they’re plugged in?

Similar question - does anyone know if wall-mounted, battery powered, motion triggered lights are a thing? Looking to illuminate the dark patch of hallway by the front door, and wondering if we can do so without having to pay an electrician to extend the lighting circuit etc, and chase into our recent redecorated walls and ceiling... I've tried searching but not having much luck.

I've looked at thus sort of thing before for a similar purpose, but didn't get in the end as wasn't sure of battery life (excuse the Bezos link): https://amzn.eu/d/g1fUILu

Thanks for this! Would certainly do the job, but ideally i think we're looking for something a bit more like a normal light fitting if possible. Aware we may just need to spring for the electrician but worth an ask...

It was just something we decided to do (we'll also have switch by the bedside) - as we had the ceilings down in our room we decided to rewire and had to option to have bedside lights controlled by the door/switch vs standard plug. So went for it.

Had an enjoyable browse through these, thanks. More of the same would be very welcome if anyone has some to add.

We have 2 of these on the wall, went with them as are dimmable and suited the style of our room.

Cross posting but can anyone ID this light?

There are solar ones that are pretty decent these days. My neighbour has some that work quite well. You might need 2 or 3 depending on the size of the space.

Another lighting question - I really like the Flos Clara light but it’s quite ££ any suggestions for cheaper alternatives?
