Upgrading for next year dude? ;)

• #2428
Possibly... :)

"carbone composite".
As attractive as the prospect of cheap and possibly cool as fuck carbon framesets are, if the only geometry supplied is the TT length(with CTT and CTC unspecified) and fork rake, that's a big old nope.
-
• #2430
CTT is 516mm and rake is a choice of 38 and 45mm.
-
• #2431
I meant if those are the only two pieces of information on geometry, that's bad.
-
• #2432
I'd imagine they'd be able to provide some sort of a geo sheet if you emailed them, but still.
-
• #2433
It's easily googleable:
I wanted to know if anyone had any first hand knowledge of the frame.
-
• #2434
I hear they are around $580 per unit, which seems pretty reasonable.
Once you add shipping and tax to that, you get £500, and a PX Pro Carbon f&f is only £550
-
• #2435
Also, where are they $580? Cheapest I can find on aliexpress for that frame is $740 shipped

Is the aero-nose within uci-restrictions and are the chainstays a little too beefywide so pedal/spider strike will be an issue on some setups?
-
• #2438
Got an email back this morning.
Thanks for your mail.
Track201 We have current stock of 526mm toptube,
the price for clearcoating at USD580/frame+fork+seatpost+seatclamp,
but the stock are all in clearcoating, unpainted, which kind of painting would you like to do? Since this model do not have the WINSPACE painting design.
Do you have any your own painting design?
The weight about M size: 1550g for frame,855g for fork,250g for seat post -

It complies to UCI regulations according to their site and a lot of modern carbon frames have the wide chainstays. I read on here that the ADR Nero doesn't work well with Campagnolo cranks, but that doesn't concern me as I use 165mm Sugino or Sram cranks anyway.

I'd take that with the same pinch of salt as every other claim. If it doesn't have a UCI approval sticker, it doesn't comply these days. Whether that's a problem depends on where you race; for local track leagues, the scrutineers have better things to worry about :-)

that frame looks really good, not so sure about the quality.
if you're going to buy it, definitely go for custom paint design.
-
• #2442
It looks hideous, and I'd put money on its being no better aerodynamically than a 531 frame
-
• #2443
Anyone tried the chinese 3T arx ltd stems? Are they really bad?
The yellow striped one has potential on my colnago upgrade.... -
• #2444
Carbon stems are pretty pointless IMO.
Buying a fake seems even more pointless.
Personally I wouldn't.

Teeth are quite expensive.
I've got two of these:

£2,500 each.

I'd never go for counterfeit parts but the look of it was tempting... Almost all the rest of components are gonna be carbon... I'll stick to genuine parts then ;)

That is horrible. Shades of this:

Just in case anyone else needs dental implants, my dad had his done in Barcalona. It was cheaper for both of us to go out there and stay for 5 days than it was to have the work done in the UK by the same dentist.

Dental implants or weight-weenie toe spikes for cyclocross?

Now there's an idea.
Anyone got any experience with the Track201 frame from gotobike?

I should probably fire off an email to them but I hear they are around $580 per unit, which seems pretty reasonable. I've seen them sold as Winspace in the UK from Jedicyclesports for £750.
