  • Didn't Sunday training used to start at 8am?

  • never

  • Damn I love sunday sessions!

even if I did break my shoe :/

  • too much power for the shoe to handle.

    Super sunny sunday sprinting session.

  • Yep, really enjoyed that, a beautiful day to start getting some sprint efforts in.

  • Good session today! The weather was awesome.
It was tough work with so few people in the group though!

    Where was JC?

  • wish I could have been there :|

  • Can't say how much I loved todays session, top fun.

  • Nice pootle. My legs feel like wood now.

  • Mine have disappeared. At least it felt like it when I just stood up to walk. compression tights on now.

It's funny how the pain/stiffness creeps up you hours later

  • it's coz you're not fit.

  • Must be. Especially as all those unfit professional riders still complain of the same thing ;)

  • There is a reason for it though: 1-3-1s on 94"

  • ....with 30 mins of deck-chair assembling reps between efforts.

    ;)

  • lol@ enduros understanding of energy systems

  • zing!

  • yeah, that Thor Hushvod knows jack shit about energy systems, fuck knows how he can do the 240k rides and still put a massive sprint in at the end, he must just be winging it I suppose

  • I love the Enduro vs Sprinter

Proper West Side Story. All in lycra too.

    That's exactly what I mean.

    Why don't you educate yourself:

  • I see you've done Module 3 of the British Cycling Coaching handbook then

How to Patronise levels i and ii

  • RPM's changed, Wayne... Gone is the happy-go-lucky, beer drinking, fixie-skidder of old... shakes head

In other news... RPM + BDW = Bullet Baxter... Uncanny...

How did you get access to that??

  • Enjoyed yesterdays session in the sun. Lovely way to spend a Sunday morning. Not sure I did enough though as I didn't have any leg ache at all. Obviuosly 92GI 1-3-1's aren't enough. 110GI next time :-)

It was because you didn't do enough in the week ;)

You need a good few days of training on the trot to get professional leg ache.
