  • so jason. who was the quickest downhill? do you have the skillz? those old dogs show you a clean pair of heels?

  • Still got tomorrow to find out. I clearly don't have the skills for some things. Maybe I should stick to riding in circles.

  • While you were all at the track today, I got through my first pilates session.
I think I am physically unscathed but I will have a lasting mental image of some of the weird things they made me do :$

I need to do this too, where did you go, Mike?

  • I should be there Sunday.

  • Is it dry on that side of London? Do I bother driving to the track or do I go out on the road?

  • It's just started raining here, about 5 miles south east of Herne Hill.

  • Thanks Andy, I was in my car ready to head off when I read that. Went for a nice ride in Essex instead and got thoroughly soaked, but in a good way.

  • Mrs Slain and I took our bikes down to the market for a bit of shopping and a coffee, seemed pleasant enough when we left our gaff but got soaked on the way back... Nice day for staying in and putting your feet up... Tho' the sun's just reared its head in Herne Hill... Typical...

  • Lovely session today.

  • Yup... Really enjoyed it. ;-)

  • Hah!

I am beside myself with tiredness now, legs are battered to death

  • Mtfu!

    ;-)

on a 82? must be the time of year, Sausage suit is perfect by the way Rob, Thanks for sorting them out.

  • Legs are battered from the 2 gym session this week, today just the icing on the cake :)

  • Not interesting for anyone but me, but

    11.5 miles total.

    Effort 1: 31.6 mph
    2: 34.7 mph
    3: 33.8 mph
    4: 32.6 mph

    Max cadence 144 rpm

    on 81 GI

Enjoyed it today, gonna miss the emptiness once proper sundays start.

  • Was fun today. I wish I'd made better use of having the track to myself when I did.

I was on 48x16 and felt massively under-geared. But no harm done.

  • Is there going to be a session this coming Sunday?

  • Yep - session officially start this Sunday. Should be good.

  • Can't wait! But unfortunately I'm gonna av to. mothers day, then omniums, then back to Scotland for uni exams.

Enjoy it while you can. Been coming up with some wierd and wonderful/painful training exercises to try out. Will try to test them out on the kids on a friday nigt first. Hopefully none of em will be as wierd as when all the riders had to make the shape that someones 5year old daughter drew on a pad of paper!

  • ^ I liked that excercise.

Not quite as wierd as when we rode around holding hands, hugging and headbutting each other.

I've got a road race this Sunday so will have to miss out, but looking forward to the week after.

  • Thanks for that, I'm assuming it will be a 9.00am start.

  • Nope, start time for intermediate training is 10 a.m.

  • Sunday Andy! no intermediates and it's a 0900 start.

  • Doh! Sorry, thought it was the Saturday thread.

  • Saturday comes before Sunday....
Might write a song about that
