  • name the film

Fuck! Is is doing my head in! I'm supposed to be working and I know this... You've found my catnip. I love trying to identify stuff like this.

  • It's not house of 1000 corpses is it...

  • @Wongcog about camping,hehe

  • Nivea's new beauty cream?

  • looks like one of those SFW porn photoshops

  • Is it Rosemary's Baby?

  • It's The Mask isn't it?

  • Is it tumblr_lgkhu5jV671qzc4eao1_500? (must be by one of them avant garde Swedish dirs or summat)

  • If anyone gets a chance and is a real fan of the genre / loves to see it worked in new and intelligent ways, check out Red White and Blue by Simon Rumley (caveat; friend of mine). Saw it at frightfest last year and it's pure horror laced with amazing - genre defying ideas, brilliant acting and a lazy, steady tempo. Genuinely left me breathless. I feel it could be a real cult hit. Especially now he's getting bigger and sexier budgets to tinker with. People who discover him will look back at RWandB for sure. Have a gander if you get a chance!!!

Tell your friend his film is awesome. i really enjoyed it though it was very gruelling to watch. Noah Taylor and Amanda Fuller deserve some recognition for some terrific performances.

  • just watched that^ very, very good, really enjoyed it. thanks for reccomending.

  • Glad to hear it wasn't just a bias review on my part. Genre warping isn't it? Great acting and brave too!

  • I saw something ridiculous the other night called The Ruins

Yep it was on telly. It was hilarious. When I described it to my girlfriend she thought I was making it up.

I had to cycle home on a dark tree-and-bush-lined road through, that shit me up a bit!

  • anyone recomend a good shocker, haven't seen one in a few days, getting withdrawalls

  • I hear Little Fockers is a real shocker

  • grrrrrrrr!!

  • sorry

  • saw new(ish) I Spit On Your Grave.

for a rape-revenge fantasy it was ok, not really a shocker unless you're the Sheriff in the final scene.

  • saw that, it was pretty good.

  • I really liked Turistas, saw it a couple of times. It was refreshing in that although it came out around the time of the SAWs etc it wasn't a gorno and was just a good horror with lots of believable story, scenery etc.

  • Shrooms on the tv last night.
    It really was pretty shit

  • yeah, that was pretty good, it's when the wake up, after being drugged at a beach party. After the bus leaves them stranded.

The only reason I enjoyed that film was because Meliisa George was in it and she is seriously beautiful. Not a bad script either

She was also in 30 Days of Night which, aside from her being in, was an excellent horror directed by a school friend of one of my best mates.

  • isn't she also in the new tron film?

30 days of nights is pretty good too

  • I've just bought Let The Right One In.

Just waiting for the right time to watch it. (beer, crisps, lights off, wife gone to bed, etc)

  • My missis is no horror fan Luci but she loved Let The Right One In. Might be worth getting Mrs Luci to give it a whirl..?
