The crotch of my S-000 just gave in after 5 months because of sporadic cycling in them.
That's 100 quid in 1 year.

for the last few years i've bought two or three pairs of these a year and rotated them till the crotch (actually more like the 't'aint) wears out. then bin and repeat. they're not the most handsome jeans on earth but i like them for cycling and pubbing... which let's face it, is 99% of what i do outside work. cash/fit/quality ratio is very good.

There is only ONE jeans brand, fact.

I know they're frowned upon now but I have a lovely pair of Evis (pre 'u') selvedge jeans that have lasted me nearly 12 years. The hand painted seagull pocket logos have long since gone but they are beautiful.

I came across a few times, on the bay, with early EVISU models, clean pockets, clean everything raw indigo denim. They look amazing, proper well made.
