What happened to the Howies Epic Drovers? I'm all about the 'waterproof' jeans for winter.
I have the 551 commuters but could do with another pair.
Clearly no change of finding some ladies ones, so skinny mens will have to do. -

gave my albams a light wash last night. A bit premature, only 7 months in, I blame sudden loss of memory.
Anyway, they've kept their colour surprisingly well, the fades are a bit clearer but no way near as much fading as I've seen on other jeans. They shrunk a fair bit in length though, prob an inch or two

Ok, what I'm after is a dummies guide to Levi's selvedge fits. It's like double Dutch to me.
anyone know of owt?
-
• #417
all different, you'll have to try them on
-
• #418
I realise they're all different and I've tried a load on but it's difficult to recall specifically the slight nuances in fit. Denimheads are such nerds that there must be some kind of definitive guide knocking about...

Are Uniqlo still stocking the japanese line raw selvedge denim? Nothing on the website and I am not near a store.
Cheers in advance

No they're not sadly. A shame, they were an OK cut for cheapies.
You might be able to pick some up on ebay tho.
man that's serious geeky stuff!
buying pairs of Denime jeans specially made for a 2 year competition to see who can get the best wear patterns.
nearly as bad as people buying japanese betting standard bike parts for the commuter bikes.
i have to confess to wearing selvedge denim for years without realising it, a pair of japanese made edwin greenvilles that i bought for £15 in the sale. were my favourite jeans but don't remember noticing the red line on the turnup {embarrassed emoticon}. dragged them out the wardrobe today and they have a clean rip across one knee, dunno if it's worth repairing them?
