  • Do you get toe overlap?

  • About 5-10mm of it which is not much, those are 35c tyres too, if I go down to 28 or 25c, the toe overlap should no longer be an issue.

  • 28c tyres,Mtb cranks, 118mm bb and spd's with the cleats set as far forward as poss and you really don't notice it. I'll be at polo tonight so you can try mine if you like Louis. You'll need your own shoes though as mine won't fit you.

  • Ha! I'm fine with my medium pomp... Was just asking out of interest...

Sorry didn't come down today though, but girlfriend was late home so I would have been riding for two hours to play one of polo. Set up the bike for the ride to Bristol instead...

  • any one interested in a Medium white Pompino? got it ages ago but still in the original packaging, not one part fitted.

  • PM'd

  • Put on 28mm Nimbus tyres on the meanie this evening, feels a lot faster on the road now. Accidentally added another bike to the stable so I briefly thought about whether I really need to keep it. I do.

  • I do agree the smaller the tires it gets more nimble. Been running 38 on mine previously and now 32 and the difference is quite a lot. Will drop it down to 28/25 next.

    Did this get sold?

28 is about right for polo IMHO. Less than that and you loose a cornering stability, more and you are looking at too much weight in tyres (all IMHO, of course)

  • Anyone looking to get rid of an L or XL pomp?

  • TS was... Think he might have sold it now though.

  • Did this get sold?

Nope, still got it! some guy pm'ed me but yet to reply.

i also have some 32c Harshells and full mudguards that i still haven't returned, also brand new, not sure if its to late, could sell them with it for a friendly price

tempted to keep it and build a CX bike, but will be just another bike i don't need and will rarely use :/

I thought I saw a white pomp in his hallway last week.

User 'Kifer' might be interested in it

  • Thanks, gave him a PM

  • Aches and pains, I'm definitely going to take it - I just have limited access to the forum at work.

  • My Pompino frame is sold, to Cupcakes.

  • Cheers! Sadly still haven't got it properly muddy, but took some pictures anyway.

I think I might have seen you by Old St/Great Eastern this morning. Although on closer inspection It think the one I saw had a rolls.

I've got to say this colour scheme looks very good in real life - definitely the best I've seen (which are brown, white, and GBB). Very smart.

  • I was there around 7:40, what were you riding?

  • And thanks!

  • Black Condor Pista, but I was behind you.

  • Might sell my complete 2012 blue pompino in size medium.

Has strong light 2000 cranks, aerotracks, deda rhm01 bars, 90mm 3t delogoed Arx stem, tektro levers, zoncolan and a front tektro mini v.

Any interest here before I post an ad?

    Moved to correct thread.

  • Yeah kifer will prob take it... I'll pm him to look here.

  • Cool thanks man. If he is interested I will upload a picture at the weekend.
