I'll be playing this weekend, although my bro got myself and my dad tickets for the 2nd day of the lords test against sri lanka as birthday presents.
Make a pleasent change from playing, first time watching England live too. Which mean I should have a bet on it being rained off!

Damn, would have been well up for this if I knew earlier.
I'm also looking forward to Fire in Babylon. Hopefully, Shitmat will be doing the soundtrack:

ben - we won the cricket! can you believe that. (we were joking about how it was the most surefire draw. and day 3 was a dead rubber practive session).
well we took the remaining 9 middlesex wkts and chased down the target for the loss of 6. so 15 wickets and an eventful day's play.
this is the report from the day we went http://www.espncricinfo.com/page2/content/current/story/515348.html

its raining...my mates out...

.

Well the weather has certainly taken a turn for the worse, although my farmer friends would disagree.
Worth hanging around to see if it clears up?
-
• #423
Right I think I'm going to be an arse and call off. Lugging my kit through the rain via the tube to hang around until 8 in this weather does not appeal. I can leave my kit in the office for next week which seems to makes much more sense.
Still at least this way it guarantees the rain to stop!

Are others still going? its looks like its going to drizzle all night. also are we short of kit. I only have pads
