  • Registration is now free - we can't promise you free housing now though, but we'll do our best to find you a spot somewhere!

  • Come on UK, one last trip to Europe for polo this year...

  • now its free..a bit too late

  • It's too tight to travel now I imagine? Unfortunately the UK has been spoilt for tournaments this year (UK National Series) so lots of teams aren't travelling as much.

Maybe some Londoners will be tempted by the 4 hour prize giving!

  • You can still get flights for just over £100, including a bike.

  • Looks awesome, good luck John.

  • Cheers Snoops.

  • Knock 'em dead, who are you playing with John?

  • Thursday is throwins, Friday is a Bench minor, not sure how they are doing that, Saturday/Sunday is single player tournament.

  • And already some blood on it, I like it!

  • The courts are huge.

They are two basketball courts each. I'm guessing something like 23m x 40m. I'll measure them later.

Copenhagen got about 12K from the local authorities for this tournament, I wish we had access to that sort of money. Custom courts, lights, games until 11pm, food and drink, and no entry fee...

  • looks ace ! have fun John !

  • John, I am very much enjoying your updates. However, I request some whimsical anecdotes to accompany the cold hard facts.

  • Facts are good, keep em coming.. Like, how many players have registered for the tournament?

  • But don't spend all your time measuring the courts...

  • hehe, i laughed. mental image of john measuring courts and not socialising.

  • Also I want to see some pictures with you in them. Preferably with your thumbs up.

  • I'll see what I can do.

  • Can you do one where you hold your palm out and then make a fist (with a thumbs up)?

  • Facts are good, keep em coming.. Like, how many players have registered for the tournament?

Don't know right now. I think 30-40 registered, but they said more people have turned up.

The tournament proper doesn't start until tomorrow, yesterday was the court build, today is more court build, public sessions, and throwins.

They are thinking about making the Bench Minor Copenhagen vs Rest of the World.

Erin, some Brisbane mate of yours is here, I forgot his name. He said he's coming to London soon, maybe next week.

  • Geordie Boy! Give him a hug for me.

  • And a picture of the hug.

  • Good day of throwins. Bambule and other big guns are arriving tomorrow.
