Did a quick search for 'clear reflective 3M spray' but didn't find anything useful. Does it have a trade name - is it the Krylon stuff? It looks brilliant on the bike.

Get a pair of these;
Respro reflective ankle bands.
These don't work after being washed IME.
:(

Really? Mine are a few years old and are still good. They've been washed countless times too.

Saw another cyclist with a red light in the middle of his chest yesterday, very strange is this the new fashion so you can look like you're going backwards whilst going forwards?
Yo dawg i heard you like going backwards

I do this - the movement is key. Started doing it after I saw people with lights in their pedals. Whicch tape do you use? I have some 3M orange stuff that is great but is a bit fragile and doesn't stick as well as I'd like.
Onluy downside is it's not cheap but it'll last you a long time.

I followed a bloke a few weeks ago, about 10-20ft behind him in the dark it took me about 400 m before I realised he had a back light which was switched on. It took me all of my self-control not to have a go at him..
Whenever I spot someone like this I just tell them what's wrong, i.e I couldn't see you and if I can't then neither can car drivers. I suggest they get a cheap set of lights from Halfords.
If they tell me to fuck off then I just shrug and say it's their funeral.Then I shoot them dead with my trusty Luger and bury them in a shallow grave in a grass verge.

I use lights on the internet.

After a couple of washes at 30° the reflective material is now completely useless. A shame because they're useful.
Perhaps it's the nature-loving-manmade-material-hating Ecover washing powder.

Ecover are definitely not a nature loving company.

Oh really?
I've been paying extra for greenwash?

Google around. They test on fleas and Rabbit blood. They have a "strict ethical code" but they're not as green as people assume they should be.
Whether that actually matters is for you to decide.

Thanks, I've just taken a look. They're not vegan friendly. Neither can they backup claims that the product's any more phosphate free then regular stuff.

Being imperfect is not the same as being disingenuous.

There are certainly a lot of fraudulent "ethical" companies out there.
One that usually get missed by people is Innocent smoothies. Those smoothie making wankers. -

£150 Exposure Joystick is 325 lumen High (3 hrs)
£50 Lezo High (150 Lumens) / 1hr
So, it's not 'just as bright' and the run times are nothing alike. Exposure Flash is 110 lumen, 3hrs, £30 btw
You did asked;
Right is exposure joystick, left is lezyne, both at lowest setting, of which we tend to run it on;
The exposure is slightly brighter at the max setting;

I've got these as my emergency lights, for £4.99 you can't really go wrong. Its always handy to have a second set on you just incase something goes wrong with your main ones. These are tiny enough to stash anywhere and surprisingly bright. Also easily strapped on your helmet for a bit of extra visibility if your so inclined

I'm sure it's been posted before but where are the best (cheapest) places in town to buy batteries for lights?
