How many teams could Birmingham realistically send, what format and what date?

I say 1 - feeder tournament to round robin - April

1 (Stabbath, obvs), feeder tournament to round robin*, March or May (April is bad for me, but if 2/3 rule applies and Fin/Andy can make it, I don't mind)

*Need further information of how this would work.

Could our 17th March one-day/10-team tournament be of any use to a qualification process?

No, I don't think it would have to be 2/3 Birmingham. I guess it depends on actual dates and who's available, and then it's up for those two to decide upon a third. If it's a one-day Sunday tournament, I should be able to play pretty much any date except April 14th, but I probably can't do any Saturday for the next few months.

Critical mass on Friday, let's do some polo flyering.

@n3il @emm factored you guys in as a london team (2/3). That realistically leaves chris and dan lj but i don't think chris is interested in travelling to europe for polo.

Had a brief look to see what the score is with Euros - looks like its still being discussed - but I'd gladdly make up the team if needed and put the effort in to become a solid goaly however wouldn't feel bad if you guys can find a better sub from elsewhere as its about time we represented at the Euros again. What happened to Andy?

I don't know what Andy's plans are - I think he'd like to come, but he may be busy climbing mountains/building fires/whittling spoons from driftwood. We don't really know until a date gets announced.

Really enjoyed polo today - dry/smooth court makes such a difference. Nice to get peope over from Wolves, but slightly disappointing that we only attracted one other newb.

Oh well, if she starts playing regularly, and Joe does too, that's a start.

I've gone off facebook quite a lot over the past few years however speaking to Vicky last night before everyone turned up I think maybe we need to be a lot more active on facebook - The forum has been good however its a pretty insular world and although I did I doubt many other people would find us on a London forum about fixed and SS bikes?

Not sure if we're all on facebook though so might mean doubling up a little but I think it could be essential to getting more people along?
