  • That's the whole point, it isn't fashionable gear, is it? It's Olde English/Jermyn Street gentlemen's clobber... It'll always be stylish...
My old mate Goichi from Kobi couldn't believe his ears when I told him I'd never heard of Tricker's... This was back in the mid 90s, he was on his first trip to London and I had to take him there on his very first day... Fucking hipster... ;]

Totally^ but it's the misappropriation (like tattoos) that blur the lines.

  • I do all my tattoos in Pentonville - I'm not a follower, me.

  • Is it just me, or do all these shoes look goofier and uglier the more expensive/high quality/bespoke they get?

The shapes of OTP low-mid price shoes look way better, more stylish, less bulky and more refined.

FUCKING YES!!! Those 'pitted' black army ones look awful to my eyes. Nuknow's stuff gets slammed yet it looks way better to me than most of the other stuff. I've got a pair of Grensons the I'm undiecided about because the thick leather sole makes them look slightly 'medicated'. Much prefer the slimmer, slicker sole offerings...That or the lamentable(?) Clarks wallaby/Dessert boot.

  • I used to work four or five doors up from Ran, on Bold Street in Liverpool. Cracking little shop.

Drome had some greast stuff too.

  • i think a few of you will like these

  • My kinda thing.

  • I've seen a lot of people wearing them lately.

  • I had my first pair like that in 1973.

  • They're tiny...

  • Enquired about these via web form - £640 made to order - meh.....won't be getting a pair then......

They would be a bugger to clean anyway.

  • ftfy

I have never owned a white Suzuki Vitara, thank you very much James.

  • still time

  • No there isn't. That's an Essex and south coast of Spain car. Mrs b&d is from the Basque region.

  • Does she know Mikel Arteta?

  • These babies make it feel like 4:20 even if its only 1:19

  • i have a boot version of those. black rabbit.

  • Arteta's lunatic sister used to pull pints up here when he played for the mighty hun... Mikel- nice, quiet, his sister on the other hand...

  • For a pair of full leather shoes, doesn't the Rombah Wallace Grenoble seems a better buy than the stuff from TK-MAXX? Its from India, and the leather is soft, and the tacks appear to be proper brass. They look like they were properly handmade. I happened past a shop with them hidden at the back of a window display, and popped in to ask for something else (boots). But I spied them again and curiosity got the better of me. Once handling them, I bought a pair.....£29.99. Honest Injun.

  • They look better in real life.

  • Very true. Its why I bought them, because they're very handsome.

  • These babies make it feel like 4:20 even if its only 1:19

    Tribbles with laces? Cool!

  • Bontrager SPD wing tip.

    I would.

    There, I've said it.

  • That is a complete affront to all that is right and proper in shoemanship.

  • sigh. is it?

    is it really?

or does it not really matter that much?

  • That strap and buckle is uncalled for.
