The Rapha Festive 500

It's a day shorter this year, last year was 23rd to the 31st IIRC, maybe they'll knock a day off each year until you have to do 250km per day?

I'm annoyed they're not doing the 23rd as I had thought to knock out two consecutive 100km rides before Xmas.

Norwich lot anyone have some good routes from the city planned? There's only so much coastal battering I'll be able to handle! Any hills?

I'm planning to ride Christmas day with mince pies and ale for fuel.

I'm yet to see ale feature on Rapha black and white pictures so I could be a trendsetter.

During the jersey pocket competition a bottle of Duvel (I think) featured.

I fancy having a go at this as well if routes/rides are being considered.

Would be good to catch up and put some miles in.

I always ride to my mums on christmas eve, then dads on boxing day then home on the 27th. so I just have to squeeze in around 300 extra kilometers and i'll be there.

Knocked out 80.
Was a right mare, with 3 big floods, 2 bloody punctures. Extremely windy too.
Good ride, managed to avoid 5 hours of family time!
