Yep, this wind is getting old.

I also experienced this, with the added difficulty of a 30 ish degree cross, so I had to lean into it as well as put in 16 times more effort than usual. Was like this for the final 40km of today's ride.

Up to 280 total, would like to reach 350 by tomorrow as I'm working for 3 of the final 4 days. Really don't wanna end up doing laps of Preston Park Velodrome on NYE to hit the magic number

currently managed a measly 90km, going mountainbiking in the forest of dean tomorrow which I doubt will involve a great deal of distance, and then got a 160k ride planned for Monday, anybody in the Bristol/Bath area is welcome to join, there should be a nice little group of us.

After that its a matter of how much I want to ride bikes VS how much I want to drink gin.

Weather tomorrow is looking nice if you're heading North East. A great day to ride to the Suffolk Coast! I've planned a 197k route that has a tailwind for half and a cross wind for half. Thankfully no head winds... Can't deal with it again after the 24th.

Well it's quite wet out today

Another brisk 60 in the rain today. Resorted to singing to myself aloud to boost morale, replacing certain 1 and 2-syllable words in popular songs with "rain" and "arsehole" respectively. I'll let your imagination do the rest.

Regents Park was a bit challenging this morning but managed my HoP ok. If I'm lucky it will be a Festive 135 for me.

Sacked off this morning after 195km in the first 3 days. it sounded like somebody was throwing gravel at the windows, as it turned out it was just a hurricane and driving rain.....again!

I did get beyond 10,000 miles for the years yesterday, which was nice.

I washed the bike so the day wasn't a total write off.
